In the fifteen years that I have been in business, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients,
ranging from major multinationals and public bodies to tiny theatre companies, encompassing sectors as
diverse as pharmaceuticals, education, local authorities, the arts and retail.
I have designed, among other things, posters, books, CD covers, billboards, websites, advertisements, vehicle
livery, Christmas cards, flyers, phone cards, tshirts, visual identity programmes, display stands, Powerpoint
presentations, stationery, forms, folders... the list is endless. My broad experience has left me with an extensive
understanding of how best to help my clients reach their customers or stakeholders.
This document is a brief taster of my work. If you would like to see more. or prefer to see physical samples of
the work, please don’t hesitate to contact me at 087 2612443 or email [email protected]
Thank you for taking the time to view these samples.

The Irish sporting world was
shocked when the death took place
of Christy Ring on the afternoon
of March 2. The tributes numbered
their thousands from organisations
of all kinds, but especially those
from an adoring Cork hurling public.
The funeral procession through the
city and through East Cork drew
huge crowds which accompanied
‘the conquering hero’ on his last
journey back home to the place of
his forebears. He had set out from
Cloyne on his senior hurling career
forty years before. The funeral service
took place at St. Colman’s Church
and Cemetery and it is very doubtful
if such a massive crowd had ever
gathered in that place. The Taoiseach,
Jack Lynch, gave the funeral oration.
“As a hurler, he had no peer.
As a friend, he was intensely loyal.
As a man, he was vibrant, intelligent, and purposeful.
As a husband and father, he was loving, concerned,
and tender. This I know.
~Jack Lynch:
Bernie Aherne:
James Duignan:
He used to come down from Cork City to visit his sister, Mary Agnes, every
Saturday. In the spring and summer, we used to have great ‘flaking’ in the field.
He would be out at two o’clock with his hurling boots on and dressed in an old
trousers and jumper. The word would be out among the kids in Cloyne – ‘Christy is
in the field’. ‘Does he have his boots on?’ would be the question. We would be there
until six when Mary Agnes would call him for his supper. ‘I’ll see ye at seven, lads’,
he’d say, and we would be back again at seven for more.. He was very fast on his
feet. I was a lot younger than him, but I could not keep up with Christy. He would
scoop up the ball, go on a solo run up the wing (the wing near Pidge Kearney’s
garden, where the dressing rooms are now) with me chasing him and trying to get
the ball off him. I rarely did!
In 1958, I attended Midleton CBS. Also attending were Donal Clifford and
Willie Ring – all of us from Cloyne. I soon became aware of Christy’s deeds
from Willie, as shy he was not. At that time, we had lessons on Saturdays; so by
mid-day on that day, we had to get home from school. The bus service was late
afternoon, so any lift home was a help. This was soon sorted out by Willie who
informed us that his uncle Christy would be passing through on his way from
work and could give us a lift. Christy worked for Shell Oil in Cork. So we had
a great man giving us a lift home fairly often.
14/09/2009 14:26:29
There were many tributes by the
delegates at East Cork Board on
March 7. The East Cork Treasurer,
Willie Ring (the deceased’s nephew),
replied on behalf of the Ring family.
