In Yaris Hatch, life gets easier with the
convenience of steering wheel controls. Control
the volume of your favourite song and answer calls
with your fingertips via Bluetooth®2 connectivity.
You’ll also find more storage space than you’d
think possible in a car of this size, with Yaris Hatch
offering a two-tier boot and convenient storage
options such as a dual level glove box.

Packed with convenience.
For a small car Yaris is big on convenience. Centrally placed in the
stylish dashboard panel is the 6.1" touchscreen audio display with
USB connectivity for iPod®3 and MP3 players plus Bluetooth®2
functions for added flexibility. Your favourite music can be heard
through four speakers in the Sedan or six speakers in the Hatch range.
The Satellite Navigation4 system, available on YRX Sedan and ZR Hatch,
can guide you with ease whenever you need it. Paired with the SUNA™
Traffic Channel,5 it gives you helpful updates on traffic conditions.

On the open road, cruise control is available across the Hatch range,
helping to take a load off the journey. Yaris is also equipped with all
the usual comforts such as air conditioning, remote central locking
and power windows.
Plus on the Yaris Hatch range the Multi Information Display (MID)
features all the information you need, such as outside temperature,
trip data and other useful details for your journey.
The steering wheel controls across the Hatch range allow you to adjust
audio functions while keeping your hands safely on the wheel. And
with the convenience of Bluetooth®2 hands-free phone capabilities
and voice recognition (ZR only), it’s easy to see why Yaris will be your

Ready when you are.
Whether you’re dashing around town or cruising on the open road,
you’ll find Yaris gives you enough power to zip around.
The 1.3 litre engine on the Ascent and the 1.5 litre engine on the
SX, ZR and Sedan models feature Variable Valve Timing with
intelligence (VVT-i) technology delivering dynamic performance and
greater fuel efficiency. This engine uses continual variations to the
intake valve timing to improve drivability, performance and efficiency.
And with low fuel consumption1 on both the Hatch and Sedan,
it’s a great choice when it comes to filling up at the pump.
Yaris is available as a 4-speed automatic across the range or choose the
5-speed manual in the Ascent and SX Hatch or YRS Sedan, allowing you
to enjoy a smooth ride wherever you’re heading.

Small, but big on safety.
Even though Yaris is the perfect size to zip about around town, it stands tall when it
comes to safety. With features like Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and SRS airbags,
every occupant can be reassured.
When driving you’ll appreciate the control of Brake Assist6 (BA) which provides extra
brake force during an emergency situation. The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
prevents wheel lock-up and skidding, and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD)
maximises braking efficiency by automatically increasing the brake force to the
wheel(s) that need it most.
Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) helps control any oversteer or understeer you may
experience during cornering. While Traction Control (TRC) automatically controls the
throttle or applies the brakes to any wheel that’s slipping on slippery surfaces or where
there’s variable grip.
Choose from the Yaris Hatch range and you’ll be equipped with seven SRS airbags and
an emergency brake signal, which automatically activates and flashes the car’s hazard
warning lamps. This helps draw the attention of drivers behind you to assist in reducing
the likelihood of a collision. All grades of Yaris Hatch have also been awarded the highest
5-star ANCAP safety rating.
