Hazel Gulliford

Relay for Life
“Sweet Tooth” basket
Hazel was born on the state line of Garland, KS.
She has three brothers and 2 sisters, of which she is
the oldest. She attended Pleasant View grade
school and graduated from Bronaugh High School.
While in school Hazel was involved in softball and
basketball. She was married to VH Gulliford for 69
years. They adopted their daughter Nancy when
she was 6 months old. Hazel and VH also helped
raise her sister at 9 years old after her mother
passed away. Hazel taught school for 4 years after
graduating high school then she was a teachers aid
for 10 years. She also worked at Western Insurance
Co. in Ft. Scott for 12 years. After retiring she did
sewing in her home. Hazels hobbies include reading and sewing she use to enjoy horse back riding.
Hazel has lived in Missouri for 90 years. An interesting story about Hazel is that while she was
teaching she would help direct students into career
paths and many times they would follow it
through, she gave examples of some becoming
nurses and teachers. Here at Moore-Few she enjoys
attending activities, visiting friends and therapy
also keeps her busy.
Tammy was born in Columbia
Mo. She has two siblings, she is
the middle child. Tammy attended school in Nevada. She
has been in a relationship with
Les Chiasson for 12 years.
Tammy has three children. She
has worked at Moore-Few for
4 years. Her hobbies include
crafting. Tammy has lived in
Nevada for 45 years. In her
free time she enjoys working
on craft projects, spending
time with family and friends,
but most of all being with her
grandkids.
