FALL 2016
368 Wright Street,
Marietta, Ga 30064
It is with great pride that I announce that Marietta Community School has purchased a new facility to
house all the programs that we offer. How exciting it will be to take the community school to a whole
new level by improving our existing programs and creating new community endeavors. In September of
1984 Marietta Community School was developed by Jan Blodgett and the Marietta Board of Education.
They had a wonderful vision to offer life-long learning opportunities to all Marietta citizens. Hundreds
of teachers, Driver’s Education instructors, ASP/BSP employees, camp personnel, and amazing office
staff have helped us grow, and I want to thank them for being part of this great accomplishment. I am
looking forward to expanding and providing our community with a broader selection of educational and
recreational activities for all ages!!!!
