FACILITY INFORMATION
The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is a roughly 4,000 seat performing arts venue
located amongst the natural trails of Anastasia State Park in historic St. Augustine,
FL. Originally built in 1965 as a commemorative venue for the outdoor drama
“Cross and Sword” (the official state play of Florida written by Pulitzer Prize
winning playwright Dr. Paul Green), the amphitheatre underwent a complete
overhaul in 2001 and was completed in 2007.

STAGE SPECS
The stage is a permanent, concrete structure located 46 ft from the first row of
permanent seating. The stage can be accessed from backstage or via portable
stairs (2) that may be placed in front of the stage. We offer three Rotodraper
masking panels for both stage left and stage right (10’x20’ each).

TELEPHONES & INTERNET ACCESS
Wireless internet access is available throughout the venue free of charge. There is no
security code to access our wireless internet. There are a total of four phone lines
available backstage. Phone lines are available in both dressing room 1 and/or the
production office.
BACKSTAGE ACCESS & LOADING DOCK
The service road leading backstage is located approximately 500’ north of the St.
Augustine Amphitheatre marquee/main entrance on state road A1A. Although a tight
squeeze, the service road is accessible for tractor trailers for to 53’ in length. The loading
dock is equipped with two (2) Autodok adjustable loading ramps and can accommodate
up to two (2) trucks simultaneously. The dock is at stage level with a 40’ straight push
onto the stage. Please refer to the backstage diagram on p. 16 for bus and tractor trailer
parking.
SHORE POWER & BUS PARKING
Two (2) buses (or additional trucks) can park in the alley immediately behind the main
stage building, and four (4) buses can comfortably fit within the parking area just to the
west of the loading dock. Shore power is available in both locations via NEMA 14-50R,
50 amp, 125/250 volt receptacles. Two (2) 50 amp services are located at the east end of
the alley behind the main stage building, and three (3) 50 amp services are located along
the fence in the main bus parking area to the west of the loading dock.
CONFERENCE ROOM
Located off stage left, the conference room offers a comfortable space for meet-and-greets
and/or an alternative location for catering. Attached to the room is a screen and covered
concrete porch.

DRESSEING ROOMS
There are a total of five (5) dressing rooms located in the hallway immediately behind the
stage. Dressing Rooms 1 and 2 are choral style dressing rooms, each with 4 toilet stalls
and 1 shower. Dressing Room 3 offers a comfortable main room with an adjoining
private VIP room with private toilet and shower. Dressing Room 4 is accessible via the
main hallway or dressing room 3, and is equipped with its own private toilet and
shower. Dressing Room 5 is a smaller choral style room with two toilets stalls and a
single shower. Please refer to our backstage diagram on p. 16.
FIRST AID
The first aid room is located in the breezeway to the right of the men’s restrooms adjacent
to the plaza.
PROMOTER & PRODUCTION OFFICES
The promoter and production offices are located backstage between dressing rooms 1 &
2.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Food and beverage concession services, provided by PCI Concessions, Inc., offer a full
service menu including food and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
VENUE RULES & REGULATIONS
- A strict 10:30pm curfew applies to all weekend shows
(Friday and Saturday nights)
- Weekday shows (Sunday through Thursday must finish
by 10:00pm. Fines begin accruing at 10:05pm (weekdays) in the amount
$1,500.00 for every 5 minutes over curfew.
- Smoking is not allowed backstage or in the dressing rooms.
Violations will result in a $250.00 fine.
- All shows are rain or shine events.

PUBLIC PARKING
Parking is available in the following lots on a first come, first serve basis. Shuttles from
satellite parking areas will run continuously until approximately one hour after the
scheduled start time of a concert. For anyone wanting to leave prior to the end of a
show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour
before the event is over. The driver will not depart the Amphitheatre until the shuttle
is more than 50% full.

Accessible seating for those with disabilities is reserved in pit as well as directly behind Sections
201 and 203. Handicap accessible parking is available directly in front of the box office in our onsite parking lot. Both men’s and women’s restrooms located in the breezeways are also handicap
accessible. See seating chart on previous page.

Local 115. There is a 4 hour minimum for all positions. Overtime is accounted for
