HDOW-2436C-08 Single-Deep Overhead High-Density Storage System
Maximize your limited space with an Overhead High-Density Mobile Storage System. This unique product can double your storage
space capacity instantly and economically. The benefits of a high-density storage system include added efficiency and inventory
control by positioning more supplies near the point of use. This system requires no drilling or bolting into the floor and the overhead
track allows little chance for dirt and dust to accumulate. The open wire design allows maximum air and light circulation. Quick and
simple installation make this system practical and easy to use.
• Eliminate the need for expensive facility expansion
• Available in a variety of sizes, configurations and finishes
• Mobile units include heavy-duty 5” polyurethane casters
• Overhead track is constructed of anodized aluminum

linen truck is the perfect choice for your operations team. Allows quick visual
review of contents and maximum air circulation.
• Versatility – We offer two different linen carts; standard-duty
model includes 4 wire and 1 solid shelf. Heavy-duty model
includes 4 wire and 1 solid shelf mounted on heavy steel
dolly base. Both models include side and back enclosure panels.
• Flexibility – Linen cart can be customized to meet specific
requirements by adding or removing shelves, side or back panels
• Mobility – Standard-duty model includes 5” swivel casters, 2
with total lock brakes. Heavy-duty model includes chrome dolly with 6”
swivel casters, 2 with total lock brakes and wrap-around bumper
• Load capacity: Up to 1,000 lbs. per cart

These durable and versatile open wire case carts can be used for
a variety of purposes. Ideal for use where elevators run between
Central Supply and OR. The open wire construction reduces dust
and contamination build-up. Shelves adjust in 1” increments
allowing for custom configurations for specific needs.

These durable and versatile carts are ideal for supply
exchange and transport between Material Distribution,
Central Supply and other departments. IRSG offers four
series of Exchange Carts in a variety of sizes, shelving
configurations, accessory packages and caster styles to
meet requirements in any healthcare setting. Exchange
Carts within each series are accessorized with bins, totes,

bars can easily be tailored to accommodate peel pouches or larger catheter packages (up to 3” in width and 58” in length). Bins and

Suture Carts
For maximum inventory control and quick access to
contents, there’s no better suture cart available. The slanted shelf
design allows for gravity flow and efficient loading of
cartons. Slanted shelves adjust up to a 30° slant by simply
raising or lowering front or back truss brace. All models include 3

How to Use Starter and Add-On Units
Start a run of shelving with a Starter Unit, which consists
of 4 posts and 4 shelves. Then attach Add-On unit that
consists of 2 posts, 2 shelves and 2 S-Hooks per shelf.
Add-On units can be attached end-to-end, in a “T”
formation or at 90° angles.
Starter Units are rated to support 1,200 lbs.
Add-On units are rated to support 1,000 lbs.

see page 60.

Casters Guide
Increase efficiency and reduce employee injuries by selecting the correct caster for your equipment:
A. What are the load requirements?
A. How much weight will be placed on the table, cart, or rack? Selecting the correct caster makes carts and racks roll easier.
This 5” swivel caster is ideal for cart loads
up to 1,000 lbs.
This 6” caster is ideal for cart loads up
to 1,600 lbs.

B. What type of floor surface will the casters be used on?
A. Is the floor rough? The larger the wheel the easier it will roll.
B. Can the floor be easily damaged? A polyurethane wheel is a non-marring caster and will not damage or mark a floor.
This 6” caster is ideal for heavy-duty exchange carts, linen carts and other carts where constant mobility is important. It provides easy
steering and mobility. This non-marring caster combines high load capacity with excellent mobility and rollability. Designed to absorb
shock and vibration caused by floor obstructions such as elevator tracks, loading docks etc.

C. What environmental factors exist where the casters will be used?
A. Is there dust and grit? Most areas contain particles of dust that will penetrate open bearings, causing them to fail; sealed bearings stay clean and roll easily.
B. Are there extreme temperatures? IRSG’s sealed bearings will perform well in applications up to 200 degrees.
This caster is ideal for those applications that require extreme temperatures such as a sterile wash. Sealed bearings with special
lubricants withstand temperatures of up to 200°F and will continue to provide excellent mobility for years.

D. What level of maneuverability is required?
A. What size of caster do you need? The larger the caster, the easier it is to roll and steer; a 5" diameter caster is sufficient for most equipment, but a 6”
diameter caster rolls easier with heavier loads.

Transfer Carts
Our versatile, lightweight Transfer Cart features an open design
for visually assessing contents and side enclosure panels for
secure transporting. Standard configuration consists of 2 wire
shelves, 1 solid stainless shelf, 1 side enclosure panels and Zinc
or Chrome-plated dolly frame with wrap-around bumpers.
• Adaptable – transfer carts can be configured to meet
special requirements. By adding and removing accessories,
a number of combinations can be made to customize
a transfer cart for a specific use.
• Open wire construction - Open design promotes air
circulation, which minimizes dust and dirt accumulation.
• Design - Posts are numbered on vertical 1”
increments for fast and level assembly. Shelves are

IRSG Shelving Warranty
IRSG warrants that products supplied and manufactured by IRSG will be free from defects in
material and workmanship at the point they leave our facilities. After inspection, we guarantee
to replace any shelf that is deemed defective for up to a minimum of one year, provided that it
meets the stated warranty criteria below.
If shelving is determined to be defective by IRSG, customers are entitled only to the
replacement of the component. Under no circumstances will IRSG be liable for any claims
including, but not limited to, labor or subsequent damages.
• IRSG warrants stainless steel and epoxy-coated (freezer-grade) shelves against rust
formation over more than six percent of the shelving surface up to the fifteenth year to the
original owner and the original installation.
• Standard epoxy shelving is warranted up to the fifth year under the same terms and
conditions as stainless and freezer- grade shelving.
• Zinc-coated shelves are warranted for a period of three years against rust formation over
more than six percent of the shelving surface to the original owner and the original
installation in dry storage application and usage only.
• Chrome shelving is warranted for one year against rust formation over more than six
percent of the shelving surface to the original owner and the original installation in dry
storage application and usage only.
• IRSG shelving must be cleaned only with mild detergents and soft cloths. Using other
cleaning agents, scrapers or brushes will void this warranty. Rupturing the coating or
exposure to corrosive substances will also void these warranties.
In the event of a warranty claim, IRSG’s representatives will inspect the installation and cause
of the failure and determine if a claim is valid. If a claim is allowed, returns or replacements
including disassembly, and reassembly become the responsibility of the initial owner. IRSG’s
warranties are applied on a pro-rated basis.
This is the sole and exclusive warranty given by IRSG and is in lieu of and excludes all other
warranties, express or implied, arising by operation of law or otherwise, including without
limitation, merchantability or use for a particular purpose. This warranty does not extend to
any losses or damages due to misuse, accident, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, use
beyond load capacity, improper installation or application. No employee or agent of IRSG has
any authority to make any representation or warranty which exceeds the above warranty.

Minimum Orders - The minumum order is $70.00 net, shipping UPS, are subject to $35.00 freight and handling fee. Non UPS orders under $70.00 net,
are subject to a $25.00 handling fee plus actual freight cost.
Purchase Terms – We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for payment. If you prefer to be billed on an open account and do not have
an existing account with IRSG, we will process your credit application in 7-10 working days. Open terms are NET 30, from date of invoice. A finance
charge of 1-1/2% per month will be charged on past-due balances.
Return Policies – Returns require a minimum of $175.00 in value. Prior written authorization is required by IRSG (or its divisional companies). Our
customer service department will provide the necessary authorization forms and return instructions. Returns, which are not accompanied by the
required documentation, will be refused. Returns are subject to a minimum $50.00 restocking fee.
Products that have been customized in any way are not returnable.
Resale Rights – The only resellers, who have a continuing right to purchase from IRSG, are those who have written agreements with IRSG. By
accepting orders from resellers and/or representatives who are not our authorized dealers or manufacturing representatives, IRSG makes no
representation or promise, expressed or implied, that it will continue to accept such orders on subsequent occasions.
Warranty – IRSG (seller) warrants that goods will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, service and maintenance for a
period of one year (to the original owner) from the date of shipment unless specified by seller in writing. This is the sole and exclusive warranty given by
seller, is in lieu of, and excludes all other warranties, express or implied, arising by operation of law or otherwise, including without limitation,

seller’s sole discretion. If goods are deemed to have failed by seller, seller will at its sole discretion replace or repair goods. When a claim is allowed,
returns or replacements including disassembly, reassembly becomes the responsibility of the initial owner. Goods repaired or replaced during original
warranty period will be covered by the remaining time of the original warranty period.
