Protect your valuable digital print, reduce scratching, scuffing, cracking! Due to the digital print
process, most digital toner/wax/inks stay on the surface of the paper and don’t sink in like regular
ink, this means the print is very tender and liable to be damaged very easily. One way around
this is to laminate, but with the increasing price of film, that can become expensive on larger
quantities. UV coating provides a durable coating that will reduce any damage to the print
surface, and enhance the depth, color, contrast and gloss of the print at the same time!
There are UV-coaters out there but they usually cost in excess of 30000 euro! Why pay a fortune
to UV-coat? Dumor has the right priced alternative: A compact machine with a low cost that
does the job at a fraction of the price of traditional machines. The compact dumor UV-coater
will coat most types of digital and offset print and thicker substrates e.g. foam board using
suitable fluids. The power supply is a ordinary wall socket with 16 amp capacity, (3 phase not
required). Easy to set up, suitable for widths up to ca. 48 cm, adjustable roller gap to 6 mm,
process speed to ca. 6 m / min, hand feeding (feeder in development).

Dumor UV Coater will coat most types of digital and offset output using a
suitable fluid, adjustable roll gap, tank with pre-heating of fluid to ca. 35
degrees for better coverage, optional sheet pre-heater for opening up
the print to receive the fluid and fluid pre-heater, caster mounted. Specs:
