LEVEL 1 A professional WL is able to develop, plan and execute outdoor activities during any season in natural areas as specified in its professional profile. Wilderness Leader Skills of a WEG: - guide groups on demanding expeditions in wilderness areas - organize a travel or expedition on international level with a length of more then 8 days Work Experience W.G.A. Level 1 - train and prepare participants within its professional profile - be aware of technical, mental and physical condition of participants at any time - apply adequate techniques in order to minimize environmental impacts Wilderness Expedition Guide - understand and transmit local social and cultural behavior - intepretate and share knowledge on local flora & fauna You will develop and participate in a real expedition where following topics will be threated: specific techniques depending on professional profile, leadership and personal development, development and planning of an expedition, safety management, travel techniques, bushcraft and survival, tracking, human geography.
