GEORGE RYAN
George Ryan is one of the most unique and talented mountain
bikers to hit the scene in recent years. He can usually be seen
shredding the local downhill trails or riding in front of thousands of
spectators at the top slopestyle events. George has gained
prominence in the mountain bike scene since he started riding in
1996 at age 13.
His competitive career began with local cross country events
followed by amateur downhill racing and eventually turning pro in
2002. George has proven to be a valuable asset to the East
Coast community and is currently considered one of the regions
top racers and freeriders. With this acclaim, George has had the
opportunity to represent downhill and freeride mountain biking to
the outside media including local radio stations and newspapers,
and even Maxim Magazine. In addition to racing, George is also a
talented freerider and is considered by many to be amongst the
best riders in the world.

George currently lives in Franklin, NJ - just minutes away from
Mountain Creek Bike Park, the perfect training ground for
downhill racing and freeride events. George is also a member of
the MCBP Trail Crew, overseeing the design and construction of
new trails and features.
For 2013 George will once again travel to compete in top
slopestyle events and downhill races. On top of all that, expect
George to be busy with photo and video shoots, including filming
web videos for his website and sponsor’s websites.
2013 Plans
• Manage my own “blog” website - GearsNRoses.com
• Regularly updated blog about day to day riding activities, trips,
and event updates
• Regularly updated video page featuring videos of myself,
along with all videos produced & directed by myself which
could include other top riders as well as company/product
“commercials”
Produce approximately 6-8 web videos documenting my season
Upload videos to social network sites Facebook & Twitter
Upload videos to major mountain bike websites (i.e. Pinkbike,
VitalMTB)
Travel to ride & compete in downhill & slopestyle events including
(but not limited to):
Crankworx(Whistler); Teva Games; Highland Claymore
Challenge
select Pro GRT & MTB Grand Prix races
Eastern States Cup series
Gravity East race series
select Enduro events on the east coast
Continue working at Mountain Creek Bike Park to design and
construct new trails, features, and events.
Continue working with DH Productions on upcoming promotional
and feature videos and television shows
Continue working with a number of photographers including local
Christopher Vanderyajt.
Provide sponsors and magazines regularly with new photos
for website, advertisement, catalog, editorial use,etc.
Work with VitalMTB.com to create video content for their
homepage
