BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Letter from the President
This Chamber is growing and “You” are all part of that growth.
Growth gives opportunities for members to become involved
with committees, upcoming events and sponsorships.
Presently there are about 20 committees needing your hands
and the skills you possess. Committees are hard work and fun,
some require a month commitment others require a longer commitment. Take a
look at the upcoming car show. The car show alone offers about 50 opportunities
of sponsorship for businesses to advertise to hundreds of people. There will be
about 300 cars out to roar and shine around the Wal-Mart parking lot on August
2nd. We look forward to every member and their families coming to the car show
and stopping by to say hello. Oh, and by the way, a good portion of the dollars go
toward our Scholarship Fund.
See you at the North Brunswick Chamber. It’s the place to be.

AUGUST’S FEATURED BUSINESS:
VILLAGE ROAD MEMORIAL CHAPEL
3
WELCOME
NEW MEMBERS
The North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce
is pleased to welcome the following businesses
who have become investors in our community
through Chamber membership (as of July 15).
In March, 2007 we purchased our property at 525 Village Road, Leland, to answer
the need of our community to have a funeral home in the area so people would not
have to “cross the river” to make funeral arrangements. After many years of funeral
service in Wilmington and Raleigh, I am very happy to come “out of retirement” to
serve the Leland area.
We opened Village Road Memorial Chapel on September 11, 2007 after several
months of remodeling, painting, paving, and yard work. We are delighted with our
hours of labor. Village Road Memorial Chapel is a full service funeral home offering
traditional services, cremations, pre-need planning, and comfort in a difficult time.
We accept transfer pre-arrangements from other funeral homes. Our prices are very
reasonable and we pride ourselves in our service.
We will soon be celebrating our first year anniversary of our opening and we are
pleased with the response we have had from the community. We appreciate
everyone’s support and we look forward to serving the North Brunswick area for
many years to come.
Village Road Memorial Chapel is owned and operated by Clarence Hales and Bob
Lee. We are proud to be a member of the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce.
