Committees to be Established The CCC Board of Directors has decided, the best way to evaluate all of the wonderful suggestions that were made at this year’s annual meeting is to work with our current committees and establish some new committees to explore all of the club’s options. The Board will ask a member to chair each committee and a Board Member will serve as a liaison. If you are willing to serve on or chair one of these committees, please contact Pam Lease. The Committees are as follows: Golf Course/Greens Committee Pro Shop Committee Pool Committee Capital Purchases Committee Social Committee House Committee Finance Committee Please Join Us in Welcoming our New Members Breandan McFawn & Autumn Wilson Alison & Dr. Marcos Roffe Dr. Jonathan & Laurie Gibralter Joe & Lyn Pecoraro John & Margaret Bakanowsky Jacqueline Palaisa & Stephen Daniel Brett Repman & Kristine Laverty Cumberland Country Club June 2013 Food & Beverage Hours of Operation Monday Grill Room - 12:00 - 7:00 Special Monday Menu Tuesday 11:00 a.m. - Dusk - Lunch Menu Wednesday 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Lunch Menu 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Dinner Thursday 11:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Lunch Menu 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Family Night Friday 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Lunch Menu 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Dinner 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Happy Hour Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Lunch Menu 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Dinner Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Lunch Menu 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Dinner Menu 1st Sunday of the Month Brunch June 2nd - 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. * Members and guests must register with the attendant for Club records with guest charges either billed to the member’s account or paid by cash. * Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult or sitter who is 15 years age or older. * Lifeguards are not permitted to baby sit while on duty. * All children, regardless of age, are not to play with furniture or use it for purposes other than sitting or lounging. Members of the Club, I would like to personally thank you for such a good start to the 2013 Golf Season. It has been a great spring so far and I am looking forward to an even better summer! I would like to also thank those of you who either contributed to the cause or played in the Golf Course Equipment Scramble on May 25th. We’ve gotten a good head start to building funds for Phil and his great crew to get some new equipment. There are some great member events going on at the club this month. All are listed below, but I just would like to highlight a few. The first will be the Father/Son Tournament on Father’s Day. We will hold a practice round Shop Game on Saturday and the Tournament will be on Sunday. The second event of course will be the 2013 MemberMember, Chaired by Ron Klinetob. If you’ve ever been to an event that has hosted you will know that it is an event with everything planned to the smallest detail. You do not want to miss it! To start off the weekend, I will be doing my first ever Golf Marathon to benefit Phil’s Equipment Fund and Special Olympics. I will be asking for donations throughout the month and will donate half of the money to each cause. I will play 100 holes of golf on Friday and am looking forward to it very much! Any donation will be more than appreciated by both parties!
