Catsup Bottle Festival Schedule of Events - Sunday, July 10, 2011
7:30 am
Trailnet’s Big Bottle Ride - Registration at 7:30 am with parking at Dorris School
9:00 am
Cyclone Sound - Starting at 9:00 am and going all day will be super-cool Catsup Bottle
party tunes from Rick Azelone of Cyclone Sound DJ Service.
10:00 am
Vendors, Entertainment, & Kids’ Activities - Lots of food, drinks, fun & games all day
long till 5:00 pm!
10:00 am
Brooks Tangy Catsup Taste Test - The free ketchup tasting booth is open to everyone to
see if they can choose the Brooks brand.
10:00 am
The C.I.A. Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show Registration - Registration from 10:00 am to
1:00 pm. $10.00 entry fee with dash plaques & goody bags to the first 100 entries.
11:00 am
Opening Ceremony - American Legion Post 365 Color Guard with Jessie Hoskin singing
the National Anthem at the Big Tomato Main Stage.
11:00 am
Little Princess Tomato and Sir Catsup Contest - The 8th annual Children’s Pageant is
back again! Presented by GCS Federal Credit Union.
11:45 noon
Hot Dog (smothered in ketchup) Eating Contest - A kids’ age group and a grown-ups’ age
group. (Restrictions may apply.) Presented by The C.I.A. Classic Car Club.
12:00 noon
St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders - Members will be on hand for photos and autographs from
noon till 3:00.
12:15 pm
Singing of Happy Birthday - Everyone will sing ”Happy Birthday” to the Catsup Bottle.
Free Birthday Cupcakes for everyone! (while supplies last, of course.)
12:30 pm
Ronald McDonald Magic Show - Ronald will perform on the Big Tomato Main Stage and
be available for photos and autographs afterward.
1:00 pm
Old-fashioned Birthday Party Games - Free children’s games at the Big Tomato Main
Stage. Beginning with ”Musical Chairs,” followed by ”Please Pass The Catsup.” (Age
restrictions may apply.)
2:00 pm
Hula Hoop Contest - Hula Hoop competition at the Big Tomato Main Stage for kids of all
ages! No age limits - multiple age categories so everyone can enjoy the fun!
2:30 pm
Water Balloon Toss - Beat the heat by competing in the Water Balloon Toss at the Big
Tomato Main Stage. All ages encouraged to join in!
3:00 pm
The C.I.A. Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show Trophy Presentation - The trophy
presentation, the 50/50 drawing, and other giveaways from the Big Tomato Main Stage.
3:30 pm
The Quarter Draw Band - Enjoy authentic Americana alt-country roots rock music from
local favorites The Quarter Draw Band.
4:30 pm
Grand Prize Drawing - Our grand prize drawing will be made sometime between 4:30 and
5:00. Make sure you're here for the big announcement!
