Cessna Aircraft, McCauley Propeller Systems and Lycoming
Engines have teamed together and are pleased to announce
a powerplant upgrade now available, exclusively through the
Cessna Authorized Service Facility network. The upgrade
uses the new Lycoming Echelon STC series IO-390 engine
that offers:
Additional horsepower
Improved performance in climb and cruise speed
Added value to the airframe
For 1973 - 1978 Cardinal 177RG, serial numbers 0283 and on.
The STC is available with a new or rebuilt I0-390-A1A6 engine,
and includes a Slick Start ignition. Additional parts required,
including a McCauley Governor, are detailed in the notes section on
CPDXpress. Replacement of the McCauley Propeller is optional.
