The Troon Junior Club is designed to grow the game by allowing junior boys and girls to golf in a fun, affordable and instructional way. Whether the junior has been playing for years
or just got introduced to golf, this program allows juniors of all
ages and skill levels the opportunity to grow their knowledge
and experiences on the golf course. A personalized Troon
Junior Club bag tag will serve as each junior’s exclusive membership badge with participants receiving the following:

Competitive Junior Golfer Program

Family Fun Nights are designed to make the game fun for the entire family. In addition to the regular set of tees, a special 9-hole
Short Course (1,500 yards) is set up.
Family Fun Nights are held every Fri & Sun evening at 5pm (June– August) and include:

Complimentary golf, cart fees and rental equipment for two

2 entrées of your choice from Matches Tavern

2 sleeves of Callaway golf balls
n
Personalized bag tag and Short Course scorecard
n An initial game assessment – video swing analysis, physical
screening and exercise program, skills testing and equipment

PGa Junior League Golf
PGA Junior League Golf (PGA JLG) is designed to better socialize the game for boys and girls, ages 13 and under. PGA JLG features
team vs. team competitions in structured leagues that provide a popular, less stressful scramble format as opposed to stroke-play
competition. PGA Junior League Golf program dates are May - August and include:

Team Jersey and golf balls
n
League competition and instruction from PGA Professionals
n
Team practices offering the opportunity for all-star advancement
n
PGA JLG communications and access to PGA JLG website
n Twice monthly practice and training sessions with Academy
Instructors including feedback on swing technique, short game
skills & on course skills
n
Monthly team range practice and on-course instruction
End of season 3D swing analysis
n Coaches will attend a designated Tournament with the CGP
team
Designed for children aged 5-11, this program introduces juniors to the game of golf. Our introductory junior clinics are held on Sunday
afternoons (January – September).
Pre-Competitive Junior Program
The Pre-Competitive Golfer Program (PCGP) is a professional coaching and training program for aspiring high performance golfers
ages 8-14, who are preparing for their competitive playing career. Program features include:

Weekly team range practice including instruction on technical and mental skills
n
Monthly team on course instruction
Complimentary “standby” playing privileges on Lake of Isles (North Course) and reduced fees for accompanied adult guests for the
duration of the program
n
Unlimited use of the Lake of Isles practice facility for the duration of the program

n Personal journal to record all practice and coaching sessions,
skills tests, weekly schedule & competitive rounds analysis

planned action for improving the student’s game

high Performance Junior Program
The High Performance Program (HPP) was established in 2008
as our highest level program. The HPP is available by invitation
only to junior golfers who have completed a minimum of one
year in either the Junior Scholarship Program or the Competitive Golfer Program.
