Texas Reality Check Budget Data 2012-2013 X Design Group, Inc www.XDesignGroup.com Texas Reality Check Website 2012-2013 Budget Data Texas Reality Check 2012-2013 Budget Data Texas Reality Check is a website designed to provide In the following pages you will find the data sets we used for the Texas Reality Check. For the following screens: Food, Clothes, Entertainment, Personal Maintenance, Miscellaneous and Savings Plan, the data amounts will remain the same. They are arbitrary numbers. X Design Group Page 1 of 17 Texas Reality Check Website 2012-2013 Budget Data HOUSING DATA The Housing Data is compiled using Zillow.com Single Family Median Sales Price (Nov. 2011 – year-to-year). To arrive at a monthly mortgage we used BankRate.com mortgage calculator for a 30-year mortgage at 5% interest. We did not include a down payment or property taxes since these tend to negate each other. The down payment will bring the monthly housing payment down, but property taxes will increase it roughly the same amount. HOUSE DATA Following are the actual housing amounts.
