Thank you for your interest in helping your local roller derby league, the Alamo City Roller
Girls (ACRG). Since 2005, ACRG has worked hard to provide San Antonio the exciting
sport of roller derby as members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA)
and as San Antonio's premier roller derby league. You too can become part of the fastest
growing sport in the world. The appeal of roller derby transgresses typical markets, and as
a sponsor we will help you reach skaters, fans, volunteers, and our community partners
within Texas and across the US.
ACRG has been featured across San Antonio in the San Antonio Express News, the Rivard
Report, San Antonio Magazine, the Current, the San Antonio Business Journal, and live on
air with KSYM and Great Day SA. We pride ourselves on being active members of our
community and appear at events like Siclovia, Fiesta, and San Antonio Stars games.
During each of these appearances, we increase the visibility and name recognition of our
league and wonderful sponsors.

About ACRG
ACRG promotes a strong, positive, athletic
female image. We are family friendly and
involved in community outreach and
volunteerism. We have visited with
organizations including Habitat for Humanity,
Operation Comfort, Girls Inc. of San Antonio,
and more. Your sponsorship dollars allow us
to spend more time in the community
teaching about roller derby and volunteering.
Additionally, your support helps keep the
cost of tickets to our games low, so they are
accessible to all members of the community.
ACRG includes travel teams and home
teams. Las Pistoleras are the ACRG team
that battles for victory within Texas. Las
Tejanas are the official Women's Flat Track
Derby Association (WFTDA) team for ACRG.
They travel to play games for WFTDA
rankings.
The home teams serve as training teams for
new skaters and include the Mustang
Sallies, Las Estrellas, Las Luchadores, and
the Bombshell Betties.
Your sponsorship helps support each team’s
practice space, game venue costs, travel to
play around the state and beyond, and other
operating expenses.
ACRG is in the process of becoming a 501
(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Until the league
earns this designation, many of our
sponsors itemize their gift as a marketing
expense.

After ten years in the San Antonio community, ACRG has developed a sound and diverse
fan base. Our fans are dedicated to supporting ACRG by attending our bouts, community
events, and by learning about goods and services from our sponsors. The 2015 season
boasted more than 1,000 adults and children.
ACRG is growing! The 2016 season includes six home bouts where our sponsors will gain
exposure to the hundreds of fans who come and cheer for ACRG.

Mission Concepcion Sports Park
Last season, the Alamo City Roller Girls found a new home at Mission Concepcion Sports
Park (MCSP). During the 2016 season, ACRG will again turn the courts into a track for hard
hitting, full contact women’s roller derby. During home bouts, ACRG proudly hangs our
sponsors’ banners for our fans and other MCSP patrons to see.
This multi-sport complex houses a variety of sports programs for youth, young adult, and
adult amateur sports. Each week, thousands of families visit MCSP for volleyball or
basketball tournaments, and of course, ACRG home bouts. Since opening in 2012, the
complex as become the preferred destination for many of San Antonio’s leading sports
programs.
