in nearly all 50 states on
public roads posted at 35
mph or less.
Every GEM model meets or
exceeds the federal safety
standards for low-speed
vehicles (LSVs). LSVs have
a top speed of 25 mph and
a range of up to 40* miles
on a charge.
GEM cars plug into a standard
110-volt outlet and recharge
in approximately six to
eight hours.
