A S TA C AVA LC A D E V E N E Z I A 26 Giugno 2016 A note from the Auctioneer The temptation of owning something made by Ferrari - be it a car or a component that has played a fundamental role in the history of the greatest marque - is irresistible for car enthusiasts and racing fans alike. I wouldn’t be surprised if my suitcase is heavier on the homeward journey! This is a particularly special event, all the items offered here are coming directly from the world’s greatest Formula One team, a very rare opportunity. On behalf of myself and the Girardo & Co. team I would like to thank everyone at Ferrari who has made this possible, along with all the Ferrari customers and collectors taking part in the auction. We trust this will be a great success and Ferrari has generously chosen to donate tonight’s proceeds to the restoration of the great Palazzo Ducale in Venice.
