X-Point Office Microsoft ® Virtual Earth - bring your data to life on the world map ™ 7-d fre ay tri e al Automatic geocoding of imported address lists—mailing addresses are transformed to Points you can view on a map. Maps are provided dynamically over the internet by Microsoft Virtual Earth. X-Point Office offers you a convenient solution for understanding, visualising, and presenting your business data in geographical terms. It’s a whole new dimension for business intelligence. Almost any business record includes an address or location that can be visualised. X-Point Office transforms endless lists and tables of data into a recognisable geographic overview in mere seconds. Use your own data, or download the data and statistics you need from X-Point Central. You can quickly identify and present the dominant characteristic in any gepgraphical unit whether it be at the square grid, county, municipality or Eurostat NUTS level. X-Point Office transforms your addresses into Points you can view on the map—in just seconds. You’ll see at a glance where your customers, agents, or competitors are hiding. Points on the map can be colour-coded statistically or manually as you see fit. Point shapes, sizes, and colours can all be customised. You can even attach images and sound. X-Point Office brings you access to data from business-data providers through X-Point Central. Quickly aggregate and display summarised statistical properties for groups of Points— aggregate at the county level, municipality, postal sector, square-grid, Eurostat NUTS, and more. Aggregate statistics from your Points and display their dominant properties in the context of shaded “Brick Layers”—counties, municipalities, regions, postal codes, sales districts, and more. X-Point Office can also automatically scan district codes from your data sheets, transforming them into Bricks you can see and use. X-Point Office is compatible with branchoutlet reports and other business data from a number of data providers. View statistics as a square-cell grid, no need to worry about ever-changing administrative boundaries. You can also use the EuroGrid for pan-European analysis. X-Point Office can aggregate statistical data into a uniform square grid of 100-meter, 1-km, or 10-km cells. The square grid frees you from the constraints of district boundaries—which are often subject to change. X-Point Office can convert square-cell data for an entire country in just seconds. X-Point Office also supports the so-called EuroGrid for pan-European analysis.
