Connection Options
General information on the actuator electronic
The ZSA-Actuator can be delivered with several electronic
assemblies. You can select between various operating
voltages and motor types. In addition, a product spectrum
of limit switches, rotary encoders and internal positioning
electronic are available.
The external electronic effort is minimized especially when
using an integrated positioning electronic system.
For larger quantities, we can adapt the electronic
features as well as the electronic software to meet
your requirements.

Preferred type!
The end positions of the actuator
are not overrun during proper
operation. Internal circuitry is
responsible here. This protects
the actuator from severe damage
caused should it overrun the end
positions.
ATTENTION:
Only actuator movement
between the two end position
switches is allowed.
The customer must provide
electrical control to prevent
any possible running over the
end position switches.
Moving to the hard stop will
severely damage the actuator.

variant with integrated end
position switchoff.

Pivot Brackets LB for Actuator ZSA
Pivot Brackets LB are made
of steel and they are protected
against corrosion. Designed for the full nominal load.
ATTENTION:
When planning your own design, please consider that not
only the axial loads but also the resulting bending forces on
the bolts must be absorbed by your design. Pivot Brackets
LB have been designed accordingly.
The bending forces are
absorbed by the Pivot Bracket.

“Corn Poppy” is ZIMM's name for its newly developed
tracking kinematics for solar trackers.
It is based on a simple steel construction with two similar,
favourably priced, ZIMM Solar Actuators ZSA.
These kinematics (patent applied) are a cost-effective
replacement for complex slewing ring versions.
