Sales Team Leader
Manage 4 to 8 Outside Sales Team Members
Sales team leaders will have 4-8 sales representatives working on
their team. Team leaders will be expected to hold each of their
team members accountable to policies and processes within our
company. They will develop training sessions and lead sales team
meetings. Team leaders must have the ability to use different selling techniques and understand each process of the sales funnel.
They will need the ability to teach these concepts to their team
members. Teaching is a critical role of this position. They will
use company set KPIs (key performance indicators) to convey
to sales representatives how they performing. Sales team leaders
are responsible for the success or failure of their team members.
They will play an integral part of the hiring and recruiting process of new team members. Sales team leaders will handle 10-15
weekly accounts. They are responsible for receivable collections
of accounts handled by their team members. Team leaders will
need a thorough understanding of marketing. They need the
ability to learn new technologies, how to implement them and,
in some cases, sell those services to our customers. Team leaders
attitudes must always be optimistic because finding solutions
to problems is critical to our entire organization’s success. Your
compensation will be heavily weighted by your team’s revenue
growth and will have a salary component.

Your main objective as an outside sales team member is to
help local businesses connect with the community. You are
responsible for a territory and building quality relationships
with local businesses in that area. You would work with over
100 businesses on a weekly basis to understand how Exchange
Media Group can best help them. You will utilize a CRM system to track your daily activity which will enable you to better
serve your customers. You will be in our office each Monday
to complete that week’s editions and to prepare for the upcoming week. Tuesday thru Friday is spent in the field calling on
clients and prospects. Every business is a potential customer
because of the versatility of our products. You will guide your
customers through the marketing process and develop ideas
for production to complete an ad concept. We have 5 KPIs (key
performance indicators) that measure your success. You are
responsible for payment and collections of your accounts. We
have sales meetings twice a month that focus on training and
continuing education. Your compensation is commission and
ad count driven. You will be in total control of your bonus that
is based on your KPIs’ performance.

daughter of the late William J. and Dorothy Kelley.
Born in Alabama, she spent
the majority of her life in
Tullahoma, where she was
a devoted member of First
Baptist Church. She loved
flowers and working in her
flower gardens. Other interests were playing the electric
organ and drawing pictures
for her grandchildren. In
addition to her parents, she
was preceded in death by
brother, J. W. Kelley; and
sister, Thelma Marsh. Survivors include son, Frank
Talley and wife, Patricia of
Tullahoma; daughter, Alice McCaig of Tullahoma;
six grandchildren; fourteen
great grandchildren; seven
great great grandchildren;
and many loving nephews
