Living to 90 and Beyond was a segment that some of
you saw on “60 minutes” last month. If you didn’t

show states “people who exercised definitely lived
longer than people who didn't exercise. As little as 15
minutes a day on average made a difference. Fortyfive was the best. Even three hours didn't beat 45
minutes.”

Passport to Wellness
How is your wellness? What does that mean?!? Here is
one definition of wellness: Wellness is the ability to live life
to the fullest and to maximize personal potential in a variety of
ways. Wellness places responsibility on the individual; it becomes
a matter of self-evaluation and self-assessment. Wellness involves
continually learning and making changes to enhance your state
of wellness. So think again, How is your wellness? Now
is the time to check it. Just as you would check your
blood pressure, your car tires, your refrigerator for
milk, check your wellness! Make sure you are “full” in
all of the seven dimensions.
The Seven Dimensions of Wellness:
• Social Wellness- The ability to relate to and connect
with other people in our world.
Now is exercise the only thing that makes you live
•Emotional Wellness-the ability to understand ourselves
longer? No. But I wouldn’t be doing my job if I
and cope with the challenges life can bring.

harmony in our lives.
