OVERSEAS MEMBERSHIP PORTAL Guide for Clubs – Promote your club to a whole new audience Add an Overseas Membership to Club Finder Step 1 – Login to your dedicated Club Finder webpage Login to your Club Finder webpage via the ‘Club Admin’ button on our homepage: http://scottishgolf.org If you need a reminder of your Club Finder Username and Password please email [email protected] Add an Overseas Membership to Club Finder Step 2 – Click ‘Overseas Membership’ on the right hand side. Please complete all sections: • Upload Club Logo (Optimum Image size 177px x 177px) • Upload Club Terms & Conditions • Main Contact Details • Details of Overseas Membership (Benefits/ Restrictions/ Terms/ Member Guest Rates/ Fee/ Joining Fee/ Bank Details) Add an Overseas Membership to Club Finder Step 3 – Send for Approval • Read and Accept Terms & Conditions • Click ‘Send for Approval’ • Once approved by Scottish Golf, your Overseas Membership will become visible to prospective overseas golfers. Editing Overseas Membership to Club Finder Edit Overseas Membership – Once approved and live, you can edit the details of your Overseas Membership by simply: • Logging into your Club Finder page (as above) • Click ‘Overseas Membership’ • Make any amendments (e.g. Change of Fee, or change to ‘Benefits’ etc) • Click ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page. Delete Overseas Membership to Club Finder Delete Overseas Membership – You can delete your Overseas Membership at any time by: • Logging into your Club Finder page (as above) • Click ‘Overseas Membership’ • Click ‘Opt Out’ (screenshot below) Overseas Membership – Customer View Step 1 – Customers can search database via following url > Overseas Membership Overseas Membership – Customer View Step 2 – Customers can view each available overseas membership for more details (sample webpage below) Overseas Membership – Customer View Step 3 – Customer selects ‘Buy this Membership’ and completes the secure online payment process. Overseas Membership – Customer View What happens next? • Customer receives an email from Scottish Golf confirming their recent purchase and congratulating them on becoming an Overseas Member at your Club. • From the confirmation email, customer has the ability to download their Overseas Membership Certificate (sample on the following slide) • Your club logo will automatically be inserted to the certificate (identified by red box). It is therefore important that you upload your club logo at the time of setting up your Overseas Membership. • You (the Club) will receive an email with the great news of your new Overseas Member, including all contact details. • It is now over to you to contact your new member and begin your long lasting relationship. Overseas Membership – Member Certificate Overseas Membership - Transfer of Funds When will the club receive funds? • At the point of sale, payment is sent from the payee to Scottish Golf. • Funds will be sent to you (The Club) from Scottish Golf by BACS payment within 30 days of the sale.
