We have tried to simplify the selection process for
glass door locking.
There are many solutions available to overcome
just about any application that you may come
across.
We have identified the various scenarios that you
may come across and the relevant solution for that
particular situation. Obviously, we cannot identify
every single door type and give a solution, but,
we have given what we consider to be the most
common scenarios and what the locking solutions
are for those.

Compact, functional design, modern environment-neutral design in
aluminium. Surface of the counter plate with 6 mm adjustment facility.
In all-glass doors, particularly those with additional fanlight and glass side
panels, the particular benefits of this strike are brought to bear: Troublefree mounting as well as a compact and outstandingly functional design. No
complex mounting fixtures required for installation - simply glue on (special
adhesive is provided with each strike). The aluminium box is available for two
strike types: fail locked and fail unlocked configurations.
Modern, environment-neutral design of the strike set, which consists of the
strike itself and an identically dimensioned mating component.

Electric strike 351M.80
The 351M.80 is a motorised electric strike to be used for double acting or
single acting swing doors.
351M.80 operates in fail safe mode. Suitable for concealed mounting in door
leaf or door frame. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
Surface mounting is optionally possible. Contacts for door monitoring and
locked monitoring are potential free.
Function
As soon as the door stays in aligned position with the electric strike, the prism
shaped bolt moves motorised into the strike plate and locks the door. As long
as power is on, the bolt is locked.
As soon as the power is switched off, the bolt gets immediately unlocked and
the door is accessible. When moving the door, the V-shaped strike plate slides
the bolt in – without electric power.

When the door is closed, the keep with fixing plate holds the door leaf in place
at the same time.
The door must have a stop for the door leaf or be actuated by a door closer
with adjustable closing force. In the case of two-leaf glass doors, a strike must
be integrated at the top in the door frame for each leaf (not suitable for swing
doors).
Models 914 and 914ZY are fastened with a securing pin to ensure that the
strike latch is not locked unintentionally when the door is open.
The adjustable keep enables exact adjustment of the glass door strike to suit
the glass thickness involved.
Changeover between the 12 and 24 V voltage range using a sliding switch:
Easy, safe voltage selection is assured. Integrated TVS diode provides surge
protection for direct and alternating currents. This single model means there is
no longer a need to decide at the planning stages whether the system should
be 12 or 24 volts, DC or AC current, and with or without diode as the door
strike covers all these options.
