Motion:
Approval the Surplus Item List as submitted by staff.
Background:
Fire Rescue has various Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) gear/parts, oxygen
tanks that are no longer in use, as well as office furniture/equipment that are damaged or
will not work. Fire Rescue also has Stryker & Ferno stretchers that were replaced this
year, two suction units and a defibrillator that are no longer in use and can be sold.
The Sheriff's Office has 5 vehicles to dispose of - 4 Crown Victoria cars that will be used
for parts and a Chrysler Concord which was seized, that is no longer in working condition
and will be used as a training vehicle for Fire & Rescue.
Finance department has two obsolete printers that are no longer in use as well as the
Atkinson Building has office furniture that is no longer needed since the Tax
Commissioner moved out.
Staff Recommendation:
Approve the Surplus Item List as submitted.
