From our School Principal
At This First Eucharist—Jane Scupham
“The Eucharist…shows us…what value each person, our brother or sister, has in God’s eyes, if
Christ offers himself equally to each one, under the species of bread and wine. If our Eucharistic
worship is authentic, it must make us grow in awareness of the dignity of each person…Christ comes
into the hearts of brothers and sisters and visits their consciences. How the image of each and every
one changes, when we become aware of this reality, when we make it the subject of our reflections!”
--Saint John Paul II
Congratulations to all our students who have joined us at Christ’s table this past weekend.
Thank you to their parents and Mrs. Funk, and Mrs. Sullivan for preparing them for this sacrament.

Boys’ Summer Basketball Camp— Ray Tarnow, SPCS Athletic Director
Please check the Wheeler Camp information. I help at this camp and we have sent 20-25 kids the last two years. It is a great
opportunity for the kids to get better and have a good time. If you want to send in your paperwork and check to me ahead of
time you can. You also can sign-up the first day of camp. The biggest reason for the early sign-up is to make sure t-shirt orders are in on time. If you have any questions you can contact me.
