Kate Westad recently tried an underinsured personal injury case in front of a Dakota County jury and received a gross verdict of over $180,000. The injured client’s insurance company had denied underinsured benefits, forcing the case to trial. As a result of the verdict, the injured party is further allowed to tax costs and charge pre -judgment and post-judgment interest as well. Congratulations to Kate on this verdict.
