half term 5 celebration 220515
Year 2 really enjoyed organising our St George’s Day Afternoon tea. We have learned lots this half term about different saints. We want to say a big thank you to Mr Fishpool for teaching us about orienteering. We had a brilliant time using maps and markers. The time trial was the best!!!! Thank you ! We are so proud of our FS1 boys and girls for their fabulous acting and singing in our Spring Performance. We certainly have lots of budding singers and actors in Nursery! Well done FS1. Happy half term everyone. See you on Monday June 1st. We have had a wonderful half term in Year 1 learning about and visiting our local environment. We are lucky to live in a such a beautiful place even if it is rather Year 3 have really enjoyed the art activities associated with our South Africa topic. Our reception classes have had a wonderful time performing traditional tales for their families. The children told the stories of The Enormous Turnip, The Gingerbread Man and The Three Little Pigs. They all were showstoppers! Thank you to everyone who came to see the shows :) Sportsmanship, manners and team work have been the focus for our Year 5’s this half term. This made for an exceptional game of Rounders enjoyed by all! What a half term for Y6. Our main focus was getting through SATs week...and we made it! However, in between countless boosters and revision, we did mange to squeeze in some science exploration and as you can see, it kept us entertained and bemused! Attendance Our champs this week are Blue 3, Mrs Duck with 100% and Brown 1 Mrs Carson & Mr Hedgley with 100%. Well done! Whole school attendance was 96.3%. Our attendance figures are creeping up slowly this year. Well done everyone! We currently have 37 children on 100% attendance this year. If they can keep it up there will be a very special ‘treat trip’ during the last week of term for them as a reward! HOUSE CUP WINNERS Catnab Hilltop To be announced after half term Year 5/6 Athletics East Cleveland Trials A big thank you goes to the Athletics team that finished We would like to thank all members who attended for their invaluable contributions to the following workshops; Transition, Communication and Learning.
