Honoring Elmview’s 50th Anniversary
and highlighting our programs for artists with
disabilities through artist collaborations
WELCOME TO
PAINT ELLENSBURG 2015!
Welcome to Paint Ellensburg. This is Gallery One’s signature event as it
highlights our patrons, our artists, and our volunteers.
For this year’s Paint Ellensburg, I have three goals in mind. I hope over the
weekend you meet someone you connect to, maybe an artist, a neighbor,
or a colleague. I hope you learn something new about our programs,
whether its about our programs for artists with disabilities, our classes, or
our exhibits. Finally I hope through expanding your community and awareness of Gallery One, you are motivated to bid one more time in support of
our mission. Bid one more time to buy that piece of artwork made by the
artist sitting next to you. Bid one more time to support our scholarships, bid
one more time to meet someone new in your community in support of the
arts. Bid one more time, and we’re guaranteed to have a successful evening.
Your support year-round is critical to our success. Whether you attend an
art opening or help fund a special project, the work we do is linked to you.
Tonight we honor all artists by raising our bid numbers in support of Gallery
One. We honor specifically our artists with disabilities in conjunction with
Elmview’s 50th Anniversary (see page 42 for more information). We honor
kids without opportunities to take classes during our raise the paddle, and
we honor all our patrons who are so critical to tonight’s success.
Special thanks to all who have made this event possible.
ALL DOLLARS RAISED TONIGHT GO TO OUR OPERATING EXPENSES!
Please join in the festivities, BID ONE MORE TIME, and have fun!

The Fine Print:
Mistakes are made despite the best of intentions. The goal of this catalog and
ultimately of the auction is to reflect the commitment by community, business
and artist members of the gallery. As packed as it is, it still does not accurately
reflect the soul of the space we know as Gallery One. It does, unfortunately
contain a few mistakes. Please keep in mind they were made by the people who
are dedicated, as are you, to our shared goals of the gallery as we strive to raise
funds to keep this gem shining!

Thank you to our art handlers this evening,
the Distinguished Young Women of Ellensburg!
Distinguished Young Women of Ellensburg is a nonprofit
scholarship program for high school girls and is the local
branch of the national DYW program which was formed in 1957
