Airport Pick-Up
Airport Pick-ups will be happening throughout the
day to bring international students to campus.
12:00pm – 3:00pm
Resident Arrival & Processing
Student Life Office, Sieker Hall
Resident students will be arriving to campus and
moving into their residence hall. At this time your
ID photos will be taken. Students make sure you
have financial and health clearance in order to start
classes on Tuesday!
2:00pm – 3:00pm
Intro to Kings and U.S. Higher Education
(Kings Students only need to attend)
KAC 201, Library
Come learn about Kings Education, the additional
support we offer to students on campus and how we
can help you to better understand the U.S. higher
education system so you can succeed in your first
year at Concordia and beyond.

Tour of Bronxville
Meet in the Student Life Office
Curious about your new home? Take a tour
downtown Bronxville with all its shops, restaurants,
and village charm. This is also a great opportunity
to learn how to walk to the Metro-North train
station. Bring spending money for anything you
may want to purchase.

Enjoy dinner with Ambassadors and fellow
Concordia Students. Bring your ID card to pay for
your meal.

Approaches to Western Ways Learning

This session will introduce you to the American
ways of learning and important differences you will
experience in the classroom. This session will also
introduce you to what is expected of all Concordia
students, since academic honesty is taken very
seriously.

Learn about life on campus. This session covers the
importance of safety, student rules, regulations,
policies and parking.

American Culture, Culture Shock &
Cultural Adjustment

Adjusting to a new culture can be shocking and
challenging. Come to this informative session and
learn how to make a smooth transition to your new
home.
