For 2 decades they have been the #1 rated morning show in Northern Colorado. For 15 years they have held their annual 28 Hours of Hope where they stay on the air for 28 consecutive hours to raise money and awareness for child abuse prevention in Northern Colorado. Nearly ¾ of a million dollars has been raised through the years. 12 years ago Susan joined their team. K99’s Brian Gary • Brian has been one of the Good Morning Guys on K99 Radio in Fort Collins for 25 years. • He has been married to his wife Kyla for 27 years. • Brian is one of the funniest people on Country Radio today! • Brian is a lifetime member of the CMA after winning the award in 2008. • His greatest Joy-Playing with his 3-year-old grandson Zander • Brian’s proudest moment – Riding His Harley out to Topeka, KS to protest the Westboro Baptist Church K99’s Todd Harding • Todd has also been a Good Morning Guy for a quarter of a century on K99. • Todd and his wife Jenny have been married for 19 years. They live in Fort Collins with their 2 cats, Chudley & Morgan. • He is a life-time member of the CMA after winning the award in 2008. • Todd hosts over 20 events a year in Northern Colorado. Todd believes since he can’t afford to give a lot of money, he can give his time. • Todd’s favorite tradition- Chubby Bunny with Marshmallow Peeps (Pictured Right) K99’s Susan Moore • Susan Moore joined the team 12 years ago and now is considered one of the “Guys”. • Susan is married to the love of her life Dr. Bob, who has become a character on the show. • Her time off the air is spent with her stable of horses. • Brian & Todd consider Susan the best thing that has ever happened to their show. • She is a former Miss North Dakota • Susan uses her horses to help with non-profit organizations like Hearts & Horses and The American Cancer Society. Brian and Todd remained on the air for 28 consecutive hours. They asked their friends in the country music business to call in and lend their support. This year over 50 Nashville stars called in to lend their support, including: Sheryl Crow, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Craig Morgan, Rodney Atkins, Easton Corbin, Thomas Rhett, Thompson Square, Dave Haywood of Lady A, Maggie Rose, Chris Cagle, Eli Young Band, Justin Moore, Gretchen Wilson, Craig Campbell, Jerrod Niemann, Andy Gibson, James Wesley, Phil Vassar, Tate Stevens, Kip Moore, David Nail, Greg Bates, Cassadee Pope, Joe Nichols, Hunter Hayes, Gloriana, Jon Pardi, Rachel Farley, Josh Thompson, Parmalee, Dustin Lynch, Charlie Worsham, Jana Kramer, Aaron Henningsen, Morgan Frazier, Brett Eldredge, Jaida Dreyer, Dakota Bradley, Austin Webb, and many more. The event raised over $76,000 after 28 Hours and over $78,000, when it was all counted, to help 3 centers that help fight child abuse, A Kids Place in Greeley, Namaqua Center in Loveland, and the Child Advocacy Center in Fort Collins. Make It Rain Concert To Benefit victims of the High Park Fire The High Park Fire just west of Fort Collins, CO burned over 87 thousand Acres and destroyed over 190 homes. Brian & Todd worked directly with the County Sheriff, County Commissioners, and 5 local fire departments to create an event to help our community heal. The Make It Rain Concert to benefit the High Park Fire was a free concert that raised over $40,000 in donations to directly benefit those who were affected by the fire. A big thank you to Jaida Dryer, Dean Dillon, Due West, Steve Holy, Stokes Nielson from The Lost Trailers, and Rodney Atkins for donating their time for the event. Brian, Todd, and Susan also donated their time to help at the local fire relief distribution center that was set up at the mall after the fire. Make It Rain Concert In the Schools Brian and Todd's commitment to children is unwavering. This past year they spoke to kids at a number of schools in Northern Colorado and read at 5 different schools in 5 days as they turned Read Across America Day into Read Across America Week to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. The Good Morning Guys are proud of the Teacher Tuesday program they started to honor teachers in Northern Colorado each week with prizes, a plaque, a nomination letter, and a video of the presentation. Santa Cops Toy Drive For years Brian, Todd, and Susan have worked with Santa Cops to bring toys to thousands of kids in Larimer and Weld Counties. The Guys helped the Larimer County Sheriff’s posse deliver the toys to the children in Fort Collins as they have done the past 8 years. Brian and Todd also participated in Charley’s Sleigh-Rider’s Toy Run to collect toys for Santa Cops of Weld County. Hosting Community Events Brian, Todd, and Susan also hosted and participated in dozens of events for the following organizations: Realities For Children, the Larimer County Child Advocacy Center, Namaqua Center, Alzheimer’s Association, Connections for Independent Living, Neighbor to Neighbor, Discovery Science Center, Hearts & Horses, Crossroads Safehouse, A Kid's Place, Miss Colorado High School America Pageant, Larimer Food Bank, United Way of Weld County, Sexual Assault Victims Advocates, Look Both Ways, American Cancer Society, Honor Flight, Special Olympics Torch Run, and the Union Colony Civic Center Volunteers. Good Morning Guys Awards The Good Morning Guys were finalists for the CMA Award for Small Market Personality of the Year in 2010 & 2011. They won the CMA award in 2008. Brian, Todd, and Susan were finalists for the ACM Small Market On-Air Personality of the Year in 2007, 2008, & 2010. Brian Todd & Susan were finalists for the NAB’s Marconi Radio Award in 2009, 2010, and this past year, 2012. In 2012 KUAD was a finalist for the CRB Humanitarian Award. Brian & Todd’s 14th Annual 28 Hours of Hope was a major component of that nomination. Brian & Todd are 3-time winners of the Colorado Broadcasters Morning Show of the Year. At the 2013 CBA Awards, the Good Morning Guys were named finalists for Morning Show of the Year again. Brian & Todd were honored by The Poudre Fire Authority for their part in creating the Make It Rain Concert to benefit the victims of the High Park Fire. The event raised over $40,000 and created an opportunity for the community to heal. Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith also presented The Good Morning Guys with a commendation at the Sheriff ’s Department’s annul awards ceremony for there contributions to the Make it Rain Concert. Fort Collins City Councilman Bob Overbeck presented Brian & Todd with a proclamation at their 25th Anniversary Celebration declaring May 11th, 2013 as Brian & Todd Day in the City of Fort Collins as a reward for their 25 years of service to Northern Colorado. Craig Campbell, Maggie Rose, Tyler Farr, and Rachel Farley all performed at the sold-out event.
