The Clancy family gift is an instinctive sense
of theatre. When the Clancy Brothers with
Tommy Makem became international stars
of the folk music revival in the 60’s, it was
their innate sense of the theatrical, as well
as their musicality, that was at the core of
their particular magic.
Clancy Festival Office and Visitor Information Point
Clancy Festival Office and Visitor Information Point are located at the Heritage Centre,
Main Street, Carrick-on-Suir. A team of dedicated staff is available to offer advice on the
many tourist attractions in the town and hinterland. Tickets and further information for all
festival shows will be available here. Phone 051 640 200.
Thank you to our sponsors and patrons

Tony Oakey (087 969 8328, [email protected], www.tonyoakeyart.com) For me
painting is a mental voyage, a journey full of colour and surprise. I treat each day as a
new canvas with new thoughts and dreams to influence me. My surroundings, my mood,
the music I listen to will all sub-consciously contribute to the work in progress. This way of
painting opens my mind to a world of discovery with no rules, reasons or explanations, a less
serious place where there are no boundaries between imagination and reality
