Concrete Ancillary 12 CONCRETE ANCILLARY 13 C 10 C 20 Mould Release Emulsion Concrete Curing Compound C 10 is specially designed for the release of hardened concrete from the mould and shutters. It forms a thin water repellent layer on the surface of the formwork and prevents the concrete from adhering. C 10 is water based, environmentally friendly and technically superior to typically found oil based products. The reactive components in C 10 protect the formwork and ensure an even colour and texture in the cast concrete. C 20 is a liquid emulsion, which when used on fresh concrete / mortar surface, seals the concrete surface temporarily and prevents rapid moisture evaporation from the concrete. It forms a thin layer for the complete curing period and improves the durability of the concrete. Suitable for all construction applications and highly beneficial for malls, flyovers, bridges, airports, dams, etc., or anywhere where water curing may be difficult. Features Features Water based, environmentally friendly Single component It reduces damage Minimises the crack surface Suitable for all types of shutters and moulds Ease of curing the fresh concrete, UV exposed concrete / mortar surface Fast working progress Reflects UV rays Stain free Provides good curing efficiency Easy application Toxic free and biodegradable Physical Properties C 10 @ 27 ± 1 C Appearance Light brown liquid Specific Gravity 1.00 - 1.03 gram/cc pH 0 7-8 Coverage Estimates Pack size Coverage 5 Litres, 20 Litres & 200 Litres Approximately 80 - 130 m² / litre when diluted with 1 : 4 water Storage and Shelf Life C 10 has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in normal dry conditions. WATERPROOFING 28 WPM 004 WPM 415 C Two Component Acrylic Modified Flexible Cementitious Waterproof Coating Crystalline Capillary Waterproofing WPM 004 is a two component waterproof coating specifically designed for use on roofs, water tanks, water retaining structures as well as in bathrooms, showers, kitchens as an under tile protective membrane. WPM 004 is flexible, safe to use, low in odour and toxic free. The products have been uniquely formulated with special polymer to increase its strength. WPM 004 is based on the most advanced acrylic polymer technology and is totally resistant to re-emulsification. Features Flexible - Accommodates normal building movement Two component elastomeric waterproofing system Advanced acrylic based Protect the concrete from long term weathering and resists UV rays Water based - safe to use, low odour & easy cleaning Suitable for all cementitious substrates WPM 415 C is a single component polymer modified cementitious waterproofing compound. The mixed slurry has excellent adhesion and flexibility with concrete / sand cement screed. During application it seals the hairline cracks caused by shrinkage or expansion. WPM 415 C penetrates into the pores of the substrate by capillary action and is channelled to the lower depths of the concrete by the moisture that is present, this occurs even in the smallest pores and capillaries. The reaction between moisture and the active WPM 415 C chemicals creates a continuous barrier of insoluble crystals. The crystal formation follows the water back as far as it is present in the structure. The capillaries are permanently blocked to the passage of water however vapour may pass allowing the structure to breathe. Rate and penetration of crystal formation depends on the presence of free lime and the density of the concrete. Old concrete may have no free lime present and this needs to be determined prior to application.
