fully marked, easy snowshoeing circuits, waymarked according the FFME (French Federation of

The National Altitude Training Centre of Montpellier and Font-Romeu CREPS (the
regional education and sports centre) and is used by highly proficient sportspeople.
It also provides training for sportspeople at local and regional levels.
The CREPS is the reception point for the French Swimming Centre, the French Young
Modern Pentathlon Centre and for the 4 Disciplines Centre (Swimming – Wrestling –

ERMITAGE CHAPEL
The Ermitage testifies to the famous catalan pilgrimage on the road to
Saint- Jacques de Compostelle, which gave his name to Font-Romeu:
fountain of the pilgrim.
The chapel was built in the 17th Century. Inside, a wonderful retable from
Joseph Sunyer (1707), one of the baroque art masters. A staircase leads
to the Camaril, with a typically Spanish fitting, also realized by Sunyer.
