About University Of Perpetual Help System
Dr. Antonio Laperal Tamayo, founder and his wife Dr. Daisy Moran Tamayo, co-founder together
with their friend, Ernesto Palanca Crisostomo, established on February 5, 1975 in Las Piňas
City the Perpetual Help College of Rizal, now the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA
Las Piňas. The first school building consisting of four floors (the present hospital) was constructed in a remarkable record
breaking period of only four months, which ordinarily takes one year to construct. The school building was created to
house the College of Nursing. Around 700 nursing student were enrolled and a few were referrals from the Perpetual
Help School in Manila. Perpetual was indeed on its way to becoming a premier university south of Metro Manila.

Philosophy
The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA believes and invokes Divine
Guidance in the betterment of the quality of life through national development
and transformation, which are predicated upon the quality of education of its
people. Towards this end, the Institution is committed to the ideals of teaching,
community service, and research as it nurtures the value of “Helpers of God”,
with “Character Building is Nation Building” as its guiding principle.
Requirements & Procedures:
For College:
• Fill out the application form for college entrance examination and secure test
permit at the Information Center in New College Building (NCB) Room 135.
• Pay the entrance examination fee at the Cashier’s Office.
• Bring test requirements (long folder, long brown envelope, sharpened pencil,
black ballpen) or buy these items in University Supply Center.
• Proceed to the Testing Room in NCB Room 136 to take the test (duration of
test is approximately 2 hours).
• Secure test results from NCB Room 136.
• Proceed for an interview to NCB Room 137.
• Submit requirements to NCB Room 141.
• Go to the Admissions Office for issuance of Student Number.
• Proceed to the Auditorium to get enrollment form and fill out schedule of classes
against the approved schedule.
• Enrollment adviser approves the accomplished enrollment form.
• Once approved, student proceeds to assessment at Window 10 of the Accounting Office.
• Pay the enrollment fees at the Cashier’s Office.
For Graduate:
• Student proceeds directly to the Graduate School for evaluation of academic records
and interview by the Dean.
• If interview is satisfactory, Dean advises student to proceed to the Cashier’s Office to
pay for the Admission Examination Fee.
• Student reports back to Dean to present Official Receipt and secure Examination Schedule.
• Student takes written admission examination.
• Secretary of the Dean advises student of the admission test results.
• Student fills out Graduate School Form 001 and an enrollment form against an
approved schedule of subjects for the semester/summer;.
• Student proceeds to the Admissions Office for issuance of Student Number.
• Student proceeds to Accounting Office for assessment of fees.
• Student pays the enrollment fee at the Cashier’s Office.
• Student submits all other requirements to the Dean's Office such as:
Permit to Study from employer to determine eligibility to take a full load.
An envelop containing student records.
Other documentary requirements to be discussed by the Dean's Secretary.
