Directions
Travelling from Exeter, remain on A30 until approx. 10
miles past Bodmin. Take the A392 to Newquay, for
approx. 1 mile. Turn right at roundabout (A39 to
Padstow). At 2nd roundabout turn left onto the B3274,
signposted Padstow. After approx. 3 miles, turn left to St.
Merryn. After approx. 1 mile, go straight on at crossroads
(signposted St. Merryn). Maribou Holiday Park is approx.
1 mile on the right (shared entrance with St. Merryn
Holiday Village)

Situated on the adjacent St. Merryn Holiday Village site, all our
detached bungalows are comfortably furnished, so you can just
unpack and carry on with the rest of your holiday, without further ado.
Our onsite staff are friendly and willing to help you during your stay
with us, so please do not hesitate to ask, whatever the query.
The Gatehouse
Maribou is a family run holiday park which forms part of St. Merryn Holiday Village. It
is ideally situated for visiting some of the finest beaches in the whole of Cornwall and
is just 3 miles from the traditional fishing port of Padstow and the Camel Estuary.
Local beaches include Trevone, Harlyn, Mother Iveys, Constantine, Booby’s Bay,
Treyarnon and Porthcothan. St. Merryn is locally known for its ‘7 Bays for 7 Days’
offering a different beach for each day of the week. All have parking facilities at
modest daily charges, the nearest being just 5 minutes drive away from the park.
The natural beauty of the area is its main attraction, lush moorlands, rugged coastline
and secluded bays. The towns of Newquay and Padstow are within a short driving
distance and we are conveniently placed near to the A39, making trips to all parts of
the County easily accessible.

The local scenic coastline offers lots of activity
and interest for visitors, including: surfing,
sailing, fishing, horseriding, walking, swimming
and cycling so there is always plenty to do for all
ages. Trevose Golf Course is set in beautiful
countryside and offers breathtaking views
acrosss Trevose Headland and cliffs, down to
Booby’s Bay and Constantine beaches.
These detached bungalows are
equipped for six, with one double
room, one twin and double bed settee
in the lounge. Fully fitted kitchens are
equipped with electric cooker & hob,
fidge with icebox, microwave, electric
kettle and toaster. Bathrooms have bath with shower over; hot water
supplied by electric. Lounge has a colour T.V. with freeview channels (via
a digi box), plus a DVD player. Heating is supplied by free standing electric
fires. Electricity is supplied by a £1 coin meter.
Our lounge bar is a focus point at Maribou, comfortably furnished and
inviting for everyone. A smoking conservatory (leading off the bar lounge
area) with pool table adds to the enjoyment.
Gold 2 or 3 bedroom caravans (Sorry, no pets allowed)
12’ wide double glazed, centrally heated luxury caravans which
include a decked seating area with table, chairs & parasol, fully
equipped for four or six people with either one double and one twin
room (2), or one double and two twin rooms (3). Each consist of
partially separated lounge, dining & kitchen areas, with cooker &
hob, fridge/freezer or fridge & separate freezer (depending on
model), microwave, a bathroom with large shower cubicle, wash
hand basin & toilet. 2 bed caravans also have baths, T.V. with
Freeview channels (via a digi box) & a DVD player.

Entertainment is arranged most
weekends and daily during the peak
period, featuring some of Cornwall’s
top cabaret artists.

a relaxed countryside location, just minutes from the sea.

area. Both have gas cookers & hobs, fridges with ice boxes, bathrooms with
shower cubicles, wash hand basins & toilets. Hot water is supplied by a gas
boiler and heating by a gas fire in the lounge. Colour T.V. with freeview
channels (via a digi box). Bronze 3 bed caravans all have a decked
seating area with table, chairs & parasol.
