Located on Wales' southwest coast, Pembrokeshire is known for the breathtaking landscape of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park,
featuring miles of sandy beaches and a spectacular coastline. The race course is a grueling test for any IRONMAN athlete, which is no
surprise when parts of the bike course such as St Brides Hill have been renamed 'heartbreak hill' by the locals.
The start of IRONMAN Wales race is at North Beach in the seaside village of Tenby. Athletes will swim 3.8K in the Bay before taking on a
180K bike course through the scenic countryside of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, passing numerous castles and iconic landmarks.
The medieval town walls and picturesque beachfront provide an impressive backdrop for the marathon through Tenby.

the spectacular South Beach and Caldey Island. You can relax in the lounges and unwind in the newly refurbished health spa, which also
includes an indoor heated salt water swimming pool. The spa also has a spa bath, steam room and heated loungers. The Atlantic Hotel
enjoys one of Tenby's finest locations, and all its bedrooms are non-smoking with en-suite facilities. A lift serves 40 of the hotel
bedrooms. Dine in the relaxed ambience of Carrington’s Restaurant under separate management. Adjacent to the hotel there is a car park
for 28 cars on a first come first serve basis with CCTV.

gardens. The Hotel has been consistently upgraded to become one of Tenby's most luxurious hotels, with most of the 40 bedrooms

Airport Meet & Greet with Return Airport Transfers

Please consider the following points when deciding whether or not to book our Airport transfer services...
1) A local taxi from Cardiff Airport to Tenby = minimum £175.00 each direction.
2) A local taxi from Bristol Airport to Tenby = minimum £225.00 each direction.
3) A taxi large enough for bike boxes, luggage and spectators will incur additional charges.
4) Regardless of your departure / arrival date and time, Nirvana Europe will be able to facilitate a stress free journey for you. Our Nirvana
Europe staff provide the private transfers to suit our client’s needs in 9 seater minibus vehicles.
Bike Course Tour - £40.00 per person
Nirvana Europe will be operating their Bike Course Tour direct from the event site, by coach, covering one lap of the course. The tour will
provide you with a look and feel of the course and will be indicative of the course profile, road surfaces, etc. Due to the organiser’s final
race preparations, and in some cases, size of the tour vehicle, we may not be able to cover every meter of the course.
NEW: 'Ship by Nirvana - tri bike delivery' - £ on request
In 2014 Nirvana Europe will provide a door to door bike delivery service for your tri bike(s). A direct pick up from your home, then
delivered directly to your hotel room, this service will eliminate any stress or anxieties about travelling with your bike. Same on the return
journey.
Flights - £ on request
Nirvana Europe want to help you in booking flights, to take the stress out of booking bike carriage, let alone saving you all of the time so
you can concentrate on your training!
- Bike carriage (if applicable) will always be pre booked and pre paid where possible.
- We will search many flight options, providing the best possible itineraries taking into consideration your preferred departure airport(s),
costs and bike carriage.
- All flights booked and departing from the UK are fully ATOL bonded and protected by the Civil Aviation Authority.
As part of our flight booking process, we understand your preferred departure airport and look for available flights taking into
consideration both costs and importantly bike carriage rules and regulations.
IRONMAN Race Entry Cancellation Insurance – Included in all Accommodation Bookings
From 2012, Nirvana Europe are delighted to include Race Entry Cancellation Insurance in all Ironman and 70.3 bookings (otherwise where
stated), covering the athlete should they require to cancel there Ironman entry slot and withdraw from the race. Please Note; All
athletes must be a resident within the EU, however the insurance EXCLUDES residents of Switzerland.
The ‘Cover’
Entry Slot Cancellation will be paid as a result of the following (for an insured person or insured travelling companion)

Cancellation of leave for national forces, police or government security staff
Court summons
Adverse weather conditions making it impossible to travel to the event
Major damage or burglary at the insured persons home, or place of business, requiring your presence by the emergency services.
The race entry cancellation insurance starts from the issue date of your booking and ends when the insured person starts the event.
All claims must be made in English, including all supporting documentation, and notice must be given within 45 days of the date of
occurrence. Each claim is subject to a nil excess, and a must be accompanied by an official document justifying the athletes withdrawal.
The insured person must comply with all the terms and conditions stated in the policy document to have the full protection of their
policy. We recommend that you read the full policy for all terms and conditions which can be obtained by contacting us by email or
telephone.
Booking Process
In order to book we will require a non refundable deposit per person (which varies dependant on booking accommodation only or a flight
inclusive package) with the remainder of the balance taken approximately 12 weeks before the event; you can pay either by credit or
debit card. We will require the full first and surname as spelt on your passport, correspondence address, email address and daytime
telephone number. If you are booking on behalf of a group or club, we only require the lead persons contact details (address etc) but all
names as spelt on there passports.

Deposit payments are non refundable and once the balance payment is taken, all monies are non refundable.
Price and availability subject to the date of booking; flight costs may deviate in cost from date of quotation to date of booking.
Credit cards hold a 3% banking surcharge whilst debit cards hold a £1 banking surcharge on all payments. To avoid all banking
surcharges on balance payments, you can send a cheque, or make a bank transfer which needs to reach us no later than 3
working days prior to the balance due date.
The balance will be taken automatically from your card 12 weeks before the event. A reminder email will be sent one week
before the transaction however please refer to the invoice confirmation which details the balance due date.
Specific IRONMAN Insurance and Bike Insurance are available. Please contact Nirvana Europe for an Insurance cost for your trip.
