There are now six levels of award, across all
levels of the Common European Framework,
allowing the learner to progress and achieve at
their own pace. Learners develop proficiency in
essential areas of communication in relevant,
every day situations.
Assessment is available to training providers
on demand, so learners can take their exams
when they are ready rather than having to wait
for a set date. The awards can now be assessed
online, offering learners a fully interactive and
dynamic testing environment that will better
assess their skills in communicating English
in realistic situations.

this award.

This award is now available at six levels,
across all levels of the Common European
Framework. Learners progress towards fast
and achievable results, while trainers can
offer flexible provision to meet the varying
demands of their students.
City & Guilds Pitman Qualifications has
published three student books totally in
line with these awards. Each book is divided
into units that offer intensive and extensive
practice to help students learn English and
succeed in their exams. The exercises are
designed to build students’ confidence
in the key areas that examiners are
looking for.
The quality and integrity of our products

aim to make life easier for those offering our
teaching awards by increasing choice and
flexibility and streamlining administration
and paperwork.
Assessment is available on demand – allowing
students to progress to more advanced classes
or retake their exams without having to wait
for a fixed date. It can be done online offering
a more comprehensive and dynamic method
of testing the required skills and knowledge.
Results can be submitted to City & Guilds
via electronic date transfer – a faster, more
efficient and cost effective of dealing with
administration. We will also continue to
offer the on demand paper assessment
if required.
A teacher’s book accompanies all levels
and provides teaching ideas and suggested
lesson plans.
