This summer, journey with us to the French Antilles, as
a group of village storytellers recall the tale of Ti Moune,
a peasant girl who falls in love with the wealthy Daniel.
Aided by the gods of earth, water, and love in her quest to
be with Daniel, Ti Moune must face the ultimate sacrifice in
this love-conquers-all folk tale. Inspired by Romeo & Juliet
and The Little Mermaid, and featuring a beautiful, Caribbean-influenced score and timeless story, Once on This
Island is the perfect summer musical for the whole family.
The beloved animated TV special comes to beautiful life
in this faithful stage adaptation. Only recently made available
to regional theaters, A Charlie Brown Christmas has been
delighting viewers since it first aired in 1965. Come celebrate
the holidays in Barboursville with Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and
the whole gang of your favorite Peanuts characters, as they
come to learn the true meaning of Christmas.
The classic musical returns to Barboursville for the first time
in over 30 years. Set in 1920s Chicago and based on real-life
murders and trials, Chicago follows Roxie Hart, a wannabe
vaudevillian star who is arrested for the murder of her lover.
In the Cook County Jail, Roxie meets her hero, the famed
double-murderess and nightclub performer Velma Kelly. When
both acquire the same lawyer, the greedy and lustful superstar,
Billy Flynn, tensions come to a head as they vie for the spotlight.
Murder, mayhem, greed, sex, and all that jazz come to roaring
life like you’ve never seen them before in this musical vaudeville.

Celebrated local playwright, Robert Wray, brings us the
comic/tragic tale of blues guitarist Dugan McBane, who gets
taken hostage by his former lover, Anya Magnifico, a crossword puzzle-obsessed punk rock princess who’s aided by her
henchman, Milo. Dugan’s release hinges on one thing: a
sincere apology. Bullet recently appeared at the New York
City International Fringe Festival, and now it comes to
Barboursville – make sure you join us for an unforgettable
performance of this thrilling local work. NOTE: Contains

Broadway veterans and real-life married couple Linda
Poser and Kenneth H. Waller join us for a special twoweekend engagement of A.R. Gurney’s classic love story.
Childhood friends Melissa and Andy grew up and led very
different lives. Here, they look back through their 50-year
correspondence, exploring the love, loss, heartbreak, and
hope that life has brought their way. In a world of technology,
come rediscover a touching, old-fashioned, pen-and-paper
romance — signed, sealed, delivered.

In Noel Coward’s classic comedy, a séance goes awry when
a visiting “happy medium,” one Madame Arcati, summons
the ghost of Charles’s first wife, Elvira, who decides to cause
some trouble in his current marriage to Ruth. Worldly and
un-worldly personalities clash in this hilarious, exciting
conclusion to our 44th Season. One of our most-requested
shows, Blithe Spirit is sure to stay with you for years to come.
