Conditions of Sale
This is not an auction.
Horses will all be purchased subject to vetting to be arranged by the purchaser.
Horses will be secured by a deposit of 10% on the sale day with purchase completed
within two weeks.
The deposit is only returnable should a horse not receive a satisfactory vetting.
Deposits may be paid by cash or cheque with balances paid by bank transfer.
Following purchase, Woodlander horses must leave the stud within three days of
completion or livery will be charged.
Arrangement can be made for horses to remain at Woodlander, for example, for castration
or further schooling. Livery will be charged.
The first buyer to pay a deposit for a horse will secure the purchase of that horse, any
further buyers will be held, in order, on a wait list.
The stables are open for the viewing of foals, mares and youngstock from 9.00am. Foals
and Youngstock will be presented at 11am, followed by older and ridden horses.
If you are interested in buying any of the horses presented on the day, please meet with
Lynne Crowden ahead of the formal presentation at 11am, or between 1pm and 2pm to
register your interest.
Woodlander Foals will remain at Woodlander Stud with no charge for livery, until
weaning. Direct costs for worming, farrier and any vetting will be charged to the
purchaser. First registration of the foal will be paid by the vendor.
Woodlander Mares purchased at the sale will also remain at the stud with no charge for
livery until weaning. Direct costs for worming, farrier and any vets costs will be charged to
the purchaser.
Please ensure that you understand whether a mare is sold in foal or without her foal.
Please ensure that you discuss detailed arrangements for the purchase of non Woodlander
horses.

Amazing foal by Shamwari Debonair
Deja Vu is a truly magnificent foal by Shamwari Debonair
out of a Ritmeister mare. Born 25/5/16.
Her full brother was awarded Elite status at BEF Futurity as
a foal and awarded Premium at his Oldenburg grading/
registration. The full brother will be put forward by
Woodlander for stallion grading this year. She has the same
stamp of quality and elegance. Her movement is to die for.

From our best dam with multiple Westfalian State Stallions,
the wonderful Wavavoom approved Hannover and Oldenburg
and Grand Prix horses, this filly shows elastic and off the

2016 Black WBS UK Colt to make 16.2hh
Powerful and Classical Dark bay/ Black colt to make 16.2HH+ with a
pedigree for any discipline! Full of ” look at me” expressions and
although still very young he’s starting to produce those wonderful
lifty movements. His sire Woodlander Rockstar was Reserve
Champion of his stallion licensing and multiple Dressage Champion
with a remarkable 9 out of 9 wins on the sunshine tour with his
offspring already proving themselves winning AM and PSG. His Dam
St Pr Savannah is selected for the Hanoverian Jumping Program. Then
we have Rotspon , another top quality son of the dressage stallion
Rubinstein I. He was the sovereign winner of the stallion performance
test, scoring an excellent 148.82 points in the dressage category. Like
his father, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with great ride ability,
outstanding movements and a high ability for dressage. He also has a
good jumping technique. Also we have Sao Paulo who is known as a
outstanding producer of many quality horses including such examples
as the International Grand Prix stallion Satchmo. In 2006 Satchmo,
ridden by Isabell Werth, won the gold medal for dressage. Sao Paulo
is also one of the offspring of the successful Sandro bloodline, now
recognized as one of the most influential warmblood pedigrees.
Raviro’s Dam carries a lot of quality blood in her pedigree also
including Goodtimes who has influenced the world of International
Dressage. His son, Lucky Times, was Champion of the Pavo Cup
twice and is now successfully competing and winning at Grand Prix.
Kennet W was the 2006 Reserve Champion of the Dutch Young
Riders and the winner of the Team Gold Medal at the European
Championship for Young Riders. Goodtimes is also the dam sire of
the dressage stallion, VDL Prestige, and is listed in the USDF
Dressage Sires via his Horse of the Year offspring. Goodtimes is
known to produces offspring with good movement, lots of carrying
power from behind, good jump, and beautiful types. Through
Nimmerdor brings the blood of Ahorn and heartbreaker making this
young man very attractive to someone wanting to excel in Jumping or
Dressage.
