This is the annual garage/brat party at JU’s with members of the Viking Chapter of the Antique
Motorcycle Club riding their vintage cycles……yup, old Harleys & Indians leaking oil together next to
sexy Italians. The AMCA members wonder why so many Guzzi owners are bald and the Guzzi owners
wonder why the all Lucas equipped cycle owners leave before sunset. Held rain, shine…..or
SNOW…..the food gets ate either way!

1997 1100 Sport
1997 is considered the most desirable year of the Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport's three-year run. Fuel-injected,
Marchesini wheels, Brembo brakes, and uprated WP (Belgian) suspension. Less than 14,000 miles on the clock, I
believe I am the bike's third owner. I'm a mature rider, with close to 30 years on motorcycles. Dyno-tuned for
optimal fueling performance by Minnesota's best-known tuner of Italian bikes, who created a custom chip
specifically for this bike. Enthusiasts call this color "root beer", which was available in 1997 only. Michelin Road
Pilots, complete servicing, and new Odyssey battery within the last two years. Moto Guzzi factory shop manual
included in the sale. All original except for Heli-bars for comfort (original clip-on's included) and carbon fiber rear
hugger to keep rear suspension free of road grime. Outstanding condition. Three years of fine tuning has turned this
example into what is likely the best-performing 1100 Sporti one could find anywhere, and it's destined to become
quite collectible

MGNOC 24th IOWA RALLY

Elkader is in beautiful Northeast Iowa, on Hwy 13, about halfway between Hwy 3 and Hwy 18. The Park is
toward the south end of town and can be seen and accessed from Hwy 13.
Tent camping Fri & Sat nights(early arrivals need to pay at park kiosk for extra nights ), coffee, tea, lemonade all
weekend; Three Meals- Friday, Iowa beef supper. Saturday, breakfast and Iowa pork chop supper, Rolls and
Doughnuts Sunday morning included in Rally Fee. Rally pin for the first 175 registered!

The 32nd Annual Wisconsin Moto Guzzi Riders Rally will be held on August 5 to August 7,
2016 at Lake Joy Campground. All brands are welcome. Registration is $35 before July 1,
2016 and $45 at the gate. We will feature Wisconsin's best grilled brats & burgers Friday
evening, pulled pork, & beef Saturday evening and deluxe continental breakfasts on
Saturday and Sunday mornings. As always, Wisconsin's finest refreshments, including soft
drinks, will flow from the artesian taps. The rally fee also includes tent camping Friday and
Saturday. Lake Joy is located in the heart of Wisconsin's "driftless" region - the area not
flattened by the glacier. It is spectacularly scenic riding territory. The campground has
clean modern restrooms and showers, and a 60 acre private lake (no fishing license
required) with two beaches. Tune in here for late breaking developments.
