The Mons is the first design hotel in Slovenia; in addition to its excellent hospitality, modern congress
centre, good transport connections and excellent
culinary treats, it affords guests a special privilege,
being on a hilltop in the midst of greenery, surrounded by woods and grassy fields, while still being in close proximity to the heart of Ljubljana.
Thoughts flow more easily here. Naturally, your

CONGRESS CENTRE
The Congress Centre is a multipurpose facility constructed with special attention to international congress standards and it hosts events ranging from
small and innovative to international congresses at the highest level of protocol. Our clients may choose between five conference halls catering for up
to 800 people, which may be adapted physically and technically to the exact
situation the customer requires. Mons also features three rooms for smaller
groups (the Skica, Grafika and Risba function rooms), which can accommodate from 10 to 15 people. The Congress Centre offers halls with natural light
and with state-of-the-art design & user-friendly technical equipment. The
highly qualified team of hotel experts, supported by a network of outsourced
partners, provides comprehensive organisation for events, including design,

THE LARGE FOYER OF THE CONGRESS CENTRE
The large foyer that connects the entrances to the Plečnik,
Vurnik, Fabiani and Šubic function rooms may accommodate up to 400 people and is perfect for socialising during breaks, for entertaining or for setting up a cold or hot
buffet. It’s also ideal for receptions, banquets, exhibitions
and other events, for cocktail parties or as an exhibition
space.

The smaller rooms (conference rooms) enable uninterrupted business meetings taking place in excellently furnished surroundings.

Our catering service can deal with up to 250 guests, offering a hot and cold buffet while our well-trained team
of cooks and waiters will provide an excellent service.
The hotel can help organise the event and provide the
dance programme, sound system and lighting effects. We
engage experienced musicians and masters of ceremonies, and can provide photographers and cameramen to
record your event.

ATRIUM
The Mons models itself on the finest European hotels, renowned for their superb cuisine. It’s thus no surprise that
our head chef for 2007, Mr Hermann Wieser, comes from
the Goldener Hirsch, one of the most prestigious hotels
in Salzburg.
The menu of the á la carte Atrium restaurant contains only
original imaginative creations made by our chefs. It’s also
an ideal setting for protocol or business dinners where it’s
of the utmost importance to leave nothing to chance.
Lastly, the restaurant enjoys a fine view of the surrounding countryside. This means you will enjoy Mother Nature’s finest produce in a wonderful natural environment,
while still being just a few steps away from the hustle and
bustle of the business world
BAR
ATRIUM
The Atrium bar is a place to relax over a cup of coffee in a
stylish ambiance. It’s ideal for a chat with friends or colleagues, and offers a wide selection of cocktails, quality
wines and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as light snacks
and delicious desserts. The Atrium is also a perfect choice
for after-work parties.
When you gaze out across the tops of the nearby trees
and your mind drifts to faraway places, it gets so relaxing
you may never want to go home.
THE POLNA SKLEDA
R E S TA U R A N T
The self-service Polna Skleda restaurant is in the style of
French restaurants known as ‘marché’ and has the appearance of a marketplace with stalls. Guests wander
from stall to stall selecting dishes made with fresh ingredients by the Mons chefs. These are prepared right
in front of the guests and according to your wishes. For
those with a sweet tooth, the sweets, home-made pastry and bread are also very tempting. They are made in
our own confectioner’s shop and bakery and you may of
course take them home if you so choose.
The Polna Skleda can handle up to 320 guests and is
separate from the main part of the hotel. It’s very popular among the locals and with people driving through
Slovenia, partly due to our close proximity to the Ljubljana bypass and the large car park that always has plenty
of room.
