SEN Plus has passed full type test according to latest international standards, especially IEC61439-2, IEC/TR3 61641 and IEC60529. System running continuity and stability are available. SEN Plus provides safe, efficient and intelligent solution as an integrated low voltage distribution platform. 1 System Overview SEN Plus has passed full type test according to new IEC standard, delivers high reliability, safety, flexibility, together with intelligence solution. SEN Plus is the advisable choice for low voltage distribution system. The System Includes Following Parts: •Power Center Reliability Safety Main distribution panel, modular construction, rated current up to 6300A. •Motor Control Center Intelligence Motor control center can provide fixed type, plug-in and withdrawable modules for feeder and motor starter application. The arc proof design is able to withstand high pressure inside the enclosure during arc conditions. RELT reduce hazard in short circuit accident. Internal separation sheets protect the operator against contact with hazardous parts. • Arc Protection Design SEN Plus passed tests under conditions of arcing due to an internal fault according to IEC/TR 61641:2008-01, satisfied the five safety criteria in standard. The arcs proof design ensures the enclosure withstand high pressure in arc condition, and protect the operator on site effectively. Arc proof version is available for Power Centers as well as for Motor Control Centers with module sizes from 5E up to 36E. • Relt Protection STDB 17 timing options from 90 to 1000 Milliseconds In order to protect service personnel against the hazards of short circuits whilst working on a power distribution system, SEN Plus can provide Reduced Energy Let-Through (RELT) protection by using EntelliGuard TM 0.1 G circuit breaker Iselective Trips within 50-60 Milliseconds according to customers' requirement. This allows the air circuit breaker to be switched to its lowest short-circuit settings on service(40ms), thus limiting the IRELT Trips within 40-50 Milliseconds Seconds (s) hazards concerned. IHI Speed Trips within 40 Milliseconds 0.01 1000 • Separation Sheet 10000 100000 Amps Internal separation sheet is installed between busbar and equipment compartment. Finger proof sheets and barriers prevents accidental contacts with hazardous parts. 5 Feature High Reliability With outstanding derating feature, elaborate critical parts, rigid framework, high protection and internal separation level, SEN Plus switchgear fulfills high customer expectations. • Derating performance The busbar system and breaker connection part of SEN Plus are optimized, which ensure very limited derating coefficient. The derating performance is completely tested according to IEC IEC61439-2 and GB7251.1-2005. High adaptability and reliability can be achieved. • Reliable Critical Parts The critical parts, such as main contact, insulation parts and busbar support, influence the quality of switchgear directly. The selected critical parts all passed strict test to ensure satisfying electric and mechanical performance. • Rigid Frame Construction The framework is non-welded self-supporting construction, Doors and covers are made of 2mm sheet steel with powder painted. The maximum degree of protection is IP54 (according to IEC 60529). The maximum form of internal separation is up to Form 4b (according to IEC 61439-1). 6 Flexible System User-friendly design of SEN Plus allows flexible operation and installation. Maintenance free busbar system can be easily connected on site. Different types of motor control and feeder modules can combine in same column. • Maintenance Free Busbar System All jointing points of the busbars are torque set for optimum contact pressure. By use of washer and spring washers, the connections are maintenance free. Main busbar separation links are accessible from the front. It is easy to connect busbar of different panel at site by means of the fish plate. • Flexible Configuration and Operation According to specific needs, all available modules (fixed type, plug-in and withdrawable) can be combined in the same column. The fully withdrawble unit design allows fast replacement of the modules. A special mechanism allows full operation of the module while the door is closed. Withdrawable modules have connected, test, stand by, disconnected and removed position to satisfy operation requirement. • Fast and Easy Cabling The 24 pole auxiliary contact plug is designed to facilitate the easy connection of the control cabling. Internal separation is up to form 4b. Cable trays for servicing of all cables are provided as standard. 7 Feature Intelligence MCC Solution Intelligence MCC solution combines control, protection, monitor and communication function together, which help customer to reduce operation cost and shorten system downtime. • Comprehensive Motor Protection and Control Function SEN Plus integrates intelligence motor protection and control devices (MM200/MM300) in MCC, which provide advanced protection such as overload, short circuit, phase unbalance and stalled rotor. Multiple motor control schemes can be easily offered, including DOL, Reverse, Y/Δ and soft starter. Electronic protection relay is powerful and more reliable. • System Monitoring and Fault Diagnose All kinds of system parameters, such as current, voltage, frequency, power factor and device status, can be measured in time. Motor protection device will alarm and take proper actions to avoid serious accident happening. System maintenance times and cost can be reduced. Data analysis and diagnose function provides accurate and effective information, which help to eliminate fault rapidly and reduce system downtime. • Communication Network Motor protection relay supports multiple protocols, has independent RS485 and Ethernet interface. The information captured from motor protection relay, electronic trip unit and meters can be accessed by field bus and Ethernet communication network. Real-time monitoring, remote control and parameter configuration can be achieved. 8 Structure Frame High strength framework, non-welded self supporting construction and supporting parts are adopted. Basically the frame contains out of just 4 parts: frame tubes in only two different types, corners and corner connection plates. The frame tubes, made out of rolled sheet steel, are foreseen of tapped and punched fastening holes to fix internal parts and covers at intervals at 25mm. Enclosure All external covers and doors are made out off 2mm steel sheet with epoxy polyester painting. Standard color is RAL 7035. The edges of the covers are bent over and flush mounted to the frame structure by means of spacers and self tapping screws. Overall dimensions will not increase. The standard covers are of multi-function and can be mounted at the side or the back of the column. Screws with cutting rings secures sufficient earthing. The doors are provided with inside hinges to mount them to the frame. All doors are prepunched for door locks, instrument plates for auxillary components and ventilation openings. The opening angle of the doors is 130 degrees. Frame tubes, structure parts, roof plates, internal covers and partitions sheets are made of hot-dip zinc coated steel sheets. Front and side covers use epoxy polyester powder painting. Ferrous parts use electro-galvanic zinc protecting. Protection has been verified in accordance with IEC 61439-1: Section 10.38.38.2 Severity test A. Protection degree The roof construction is multifunctional design. The two standard arrangements are IP30(ventilated roof plate) and IP40 (closed roof plate). Add on materials enables a simple upgrade to either IP41 by using a rain canopy with an additional sealing (for roof and between columns) or to IP54 by using the rain canopy with an additional rubber sealing (for covers, roof and between columns). 9 Structure Busbar System The main horizontal busbar system, which can be executed as three phase four line or three phase five line system, is located in the busbar zone at the rear of the column. Double busbar structure are used for the panel whose rated current equal or larger than 5000A. Rated current of vertical busbar up to 1900A, three or four pole system can be configured. Internal separation sheets divide the busbar zone from the equipment zone and protect the operator against contact with hazardous parts. The standard positions are: rear top and rear middle up to 4000A, rear top and rear bottom for 5000 and 6300A. In three-pole busbar systems, the neutral conductor of the main horizontal busbar system is located at the bottom of the column. In four pole busbar systems the neutral conductor will be arranged under the phases. The protection circuit is consisted of protection conductor and conducting structure. PE line runs through the whole panel. The protection conductor, connected with all components , metal parts and framework, is earthed effectively. 10 Three-pole main busbar Four-pole main busbar (Rated current below 4000A) (Rated current below 4000A) Three-pole (double) main busbar Four-pole (double) main busbar (Rated current 5000,6300A) (Rated current 5000,6300A) Power Center The Power Centre is subdivided in three functional zones: busbar zone, equipment zone and cable zone. The busbar zone is located at the rear of the column and contains the main horizontal and vertical busbar system. Internal separation sheets are dividing the busbar zone from the equipment zone and are protecting the operator against contact with hazardous parts. Additional separation sheet can be provided to segregate the equipment zone from the cable zone. Two sets of busbar can be installed according to application requirement. Air circuit breakers are installed in equipment zone, rated current up to 6300A. The equipment zone can contain maximal 2 breakers per column, rated current up to 2500A. High availability is secured by withdrawable technique for circuit breakers. SEN Plus can install EntelliGuardTM G or M-Pact air circuit breaker, which are equipped with intelligent trip uint. Comprehensive protection and control function, such as zone selective interlocking, Reduced Energy Let-through, wave capture and communication, can be provided. Selectivity, high breaking capacity and reliability are available. The cable zone is designed for fast and comfortable cabling. Cabling is through preconfigurated copper links. Control cabling through terminal strips. Cables or busways can enter through the top or from the bottom. 11 Structure Motor Control Center The Control Centre is subdivided in three functional zones: busbar zone, equipment zone and cable zone. The busbar zone can be equipped with maximal two main busbar systems. Standard positions are the top and the middle position. Provisions are taken as standard to couple the main busbar system to adjacent columns from the front. The effective stocking density in the equipment zone is 80E (1E=25mm). The standard separation to the busbar zone is by means of moulded plastic finger proof sheets. Feeder and motor starter units are available for DOL, Reverse, Y/Delta, fuse or fuseless application. Rated current in feeder circuit can be up to 630A, max control power in motor unit can be up to 220kW. Fixed type, plug-in and withdrawable modules can be mixed in one column. The cable zone is situated on the right hand side from the equipment zone. Cable trays for servicing of all cables are provided as standard. 12 Motor Control Center • Fixed Type Module Fixed type module is used for feeder (fuseless) solution. Modules are available to fix three or four poles version of MCCB up to 630A. The line side of breaker to be connected to VBB by means of rigid copper or cables. The range of module heights varies from 8E to 24E. • Plug in Module Plug in module is used for feeder or motor starter application (with fuse or fuseless) . The range of module sizes varies from 4E to 36E. • Withdrawable Module Withdrawable module (5E to 36E) can be used for all feeder or motor starter application (with fuse or fuseless). The module is easy to use, change and maintain. The working status of the module can be indicated in front panel. Multi-function handle and interlocking mechanism ensure reliability and prevent wrong operation. A design offering a unique combination of high fault current withstand ratings, short fault interruption times and selectivity. EntelliGuard™ G TU trip unit that enables the circuit breaker with the latest technology for system safety, reliability, measurement, relaying and communications using the Modbus or Profibus Protocol. Air Circuit Breaker M-Pact Rated from 400 to 4000A, the M-PACT circuit breaker has been designed to meet the strictest demands in fault detection and protection. The range has been developed to be aesthetically and technically co-ordinated with other protective devices. The breaker range has a common height and depth and is available in both fixed pattern and drawout versions, which can be manually or electrically operated. Designed to offer multiple mains connection options, it also comes with a wide range of easy-to-install accessories. MCCB Record Plus Rated current from 3 to 630A, Record Plus MCCB is designed for distribution and control system. Three and four poles, fixed, plug-in and withdrawable type are available, breaking capacity ranging from 18 to 150kA.The breaker has excellent current limiting capacity with circle double contact structur. Modularized design, high reliability. Intelligent Motor Protection Relay MM200/300 are digital motor protection and control system, designed for Low Voltage motor applications. MM200/300 can provide comprehensive protection function including overload, ground fault, stalled and phase unbalance. The relay includes high accuracy metering for all AC signals. Current and voltage parameters are available as total RMS magnitude and angle. MM200/300 utilizes advanced communications technologies, making it easy and flexible to use and integrate into new and existing infrastructures.
