Today, we have more power, as an artist and as a group, than ever possible by an individual. In my opinion, the audio-visual medium is so powerful that there is nothing like it for sending out a message to an audience.” Director William Collins Houston Director and owner and operator of Eye Candy Studios, Mr. William Collins screened his new short coming of age movie “The Rolling Road” for crew and cast, Friday, June 20th, 2014 at their Eye Candy facilities and screening room. Jimmy Botteril is a neo-nazi, pot-smoking biker who convinces the twins and his son Andy, to have an intimate encounter with the beautiful Shirley and her bigger sister Regina. A siren, Shirley introduces Alton to her bigger sister. Produced by Yun Collins, Bryce Cunningham, Richard Ford, Michael Muscal and Chaning Whitaker the short 20-minute movie was excellently done with original music by composer Nicholas Gati giving the movie its tone. With Editing, one can manipulate the flow and pace of a film but as a director the success or failure of the project is on ones shoulders. I am enjoying being behind the camera as a director. It takes a lot of work and the cooperation of many talented people. When you make something that is creative and original, it is worth all of the work you put into it.” Director/Editor Jason Leal F**ebook Gorilla Quotes “As a Marketer, I must wear many hats - . Now on the crowdfunding website IndieGoGo the story takes the audience to a small town where an inhumane beast is causing havoc and destruction. Seeing what is going on and wanting to save his town a hero steps to the plate and using his ability to “over-clock” his heart, thus borrowing from his future life energy, defends his home. A 3D animated short film where the hero is tasked with holding off an unstoppable monster just long enough for the town to evacuate. “Rather than waiting around for a miracle,” comments the creator of “Borrowed Time” Mr. Nathan McConnell. “I have decided to take the initiative to work on a project I have been putting off for some time. I have tried to make two incarnations of this short film. The first of which was destroyed after the majority of the work was done. My second attempt fell apart while I was job searching. The money raised will allow me to purchase some equipment I need and pay for software that will be used to enhance the work on this project.” This crowdfunding campaign is schedule to end Thursday, July 3rd so if you want to help an animator finish up his project just visit his IndieGoGo page at: http://igg.me/at/borrowedtime/x © 2008-2014 C47Houston News & Entertainment Magazine Issue 7 / 2014 / Week 26 (June 22nd - June 28th) C47HOUSTON News & Entertainment Magazine Weeklys Find us on: www.C47Houston.com Twitter at: www.Twitter.com/C47Houston F**ebook Group at: www.facebook.com/groups/C47Houston MySpace at: https://new.MySpace.com/C47Houston Contact Us, Whenever Publisher: H.L.
