Teflon Fabric Protector
Keeps Baseball Uniforms Clean
All Season
®
Uniforms treated with Teflon® fabric protector are now
available for the first time in baseball uniforms licensed
under the Authentic Little League® Brand, distributed by
Trademarc Sports.
The Architects of Fabrics
For over 40 years, the Italian outerwear fashion brand Allegri has
been known for its stylish rainwear. In recent years, the collection
expanded to men´s and women´s outerwear from Europe to the
United States.
“It’s a long season, and with Teflon® fabric protector,
baseball uniforms will be looking great and performing
like an all-star from opening day all the way to the last out
of the season,” said Damon Godfrey, Trademarc Sports
director of sales.
Allegri recently announced
the introduction of styles
for men and women
treated with Teflon® fabric
protector. These new fabrics offer
protection from the elements and
from stains without sacrificing the
rich textures and slim fits for which
Allegri is well known.
Grass stains, dry dirt, sloppy mud and even celebratory
ice cream spills come out with ease due to the technology
behind Teflon® fabric protector, leaving uniforms
sparkling clean from the first game of the season to
the last.
At Pitti Uomo, June 2011, Allegri
presented its summer menswear
collection with the new co-brand
image–a cotton jacket treated
with Teflon® fabric protector.

Down and Feather Products Feature
Improved Warmth and Appearance
Société Nouvelle Interplume is
one of the first Europeanbased companies that
uses Teflon® down and
feather protector within the
down and feather market
sector. Société Nouvelle
Interplume, located in Vendée,
the largest French region for
duck production, offers a complete range of feathers and down
products and exports more than 50% of feathers, small feathers
and different types of down to other markets.
Products treated with Teflon® down and feather protector wash
easily and absorb less moisture, so feather and down-filled
products dry faster. This benefit allows the product to retain its
original warmth rating and fullness and improves the ability of
down or feathers to “plump up” more easily after laundering.

Workwear
Retains High
Visibility Longer
Mascot International A/S, a
European market leader in
high-quality workwear and
safety footwear, is supplying
employees of Falck in
Denmark a range of highvisibility workwear treated with DuPont™ Teflon® fabric
protector. Falck’s mission is to prevent accidents, disease
and emergency situations and to rescue and assist
people in emergencies. The company can now ensure
that the high-visibility work clothing of its employees stays
more visible longer since it is treated with Repel Teflon®
fabric protector, which bonds to each fiber to resist
stains without affecting the look and feel of the fabric.
The Teflon® finish is cost efficient, as it allows garments
to retain their safety qualities even after repeated
laundering, reducing the need for frequent replacement.

Water-Resistant Headwear Plays Role
in KORBER Success
KORBER HAT COMPANY of Fall River,
Mass., has been innovating and
manufacturing headwear since
1918. Thanks to Australian pro
golfer Greg Norman, in
1990 straw hats became a
fashionable item to wear
for the golf industry.
At the time, one of KORBER’s
largest customers delivered straw hats to a golf tournament but,
unfortunately, it rained and the hats were either misshapen or
destroyed.
KORBER’s efforts to come up with a solution led the company to
DuPont. After working together to experiment with a few different
chemical treatments, KORBER and DuPont were able to bring
a water-resistant straw hat to market, and the product was an
immediate success.
Now, almost every straw hat KORBER makes is treated with
Teflon® fabric protector, and KORBER attributes part of its
success as one of the few remaining hat manufacturers in the
United States to DuPont innovation. For more information, visit
