SUMMARY OF IMPORTANT INFORMATION
REGARDING CHANGES TO YOUR ACCOUNTS,
PRODUCTS AND SERVICES:
WELCOME
ATM & DEBIT CARDS
Welcome to the Superior Credit Union Family. If you have questions
in the coming months, please call us or visit our staff. We are here
to help you! We are providing you some answers to frequently
asked questions. If you have an additional question, please feel
free to contact us. We look forward to serving you as a Superior
Credit Union Member.
• You will receive your new Debit card by December 30th, 2015. For
joint accounts with more than one debit card, the PIN used will
be the PIN of the primary account holder.
MEMBER/ACCOUNT
NUMBER INFORMATION
•
Most members will be assigned a new Member Number
(account number), the basis of which will be part of your old
account number.
• Your new membership identification card is enclosed.
STATEMENTS
• In January, you will receive your last Account Statement from
Southeast Financial Credit Union for transactions through
December 31st, 2015. Please save this statement to verify with
the first statement you will receive from Superior Credit Union in
February (with January’s transactions).

This is very important since we will be converting member
database systems. Please notify Member Services at 1-877717-2271 immediately if you think there is an error(s) in
any information.
SHARE DRAFT/CHECKING ACCOUNTS
• You will be receiving your first set of free checks from Superior
Credit Union in December.
• Please begin using Superior Credit Union checks on January
1st, 2016.
• Do not worry about checks that have not cleared prior to January
1, 2016 as they will clear without interruption.
• Beginning at 12 noon on December 31st please begin using your
new Superior debit card and discontinue use of your Southeast
debit card.
• For your security, please cut up your Southeast Financial Debit
Card before discarding.
• Your new Superior VISA Debit Card has a limit of 10 transactions
per day and a limit of $1,000 per day for merchant purchases.
**The days of December 31st & January 1st could result in some
time in which you will be unable to access your account via ATM
or debit card. We ask that you please bear with us as we work
diligently to convert member database systems as quickly and
seamlessly as possible.
CREDIT CARDS
•
For all members holding a Southeast Financial VISA Credit
Card, your current plastic card will continue to work as normal.
Superior will notify you of any future changes regarding your
credit card.
• Payments for your Southeast Financial Visa may be made by
mail or at any Superior office. Sometime in the near future you
will be receiving your new Superior VISA Credit Card.
CERTIFICATE ACCOUNTS OR IRA
• Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and Certificate Accounts
will remain with Southeast Financial Credit Union; however,
Superior Credit Union will service those accounts. Therefore,
members with IRAs and Certificates will be able contact Superior
Credit Union with any IRA or Certificate related questions. These
members will experience no difference in service between the
IRAs or Certificates than they will receive on other accounts that

• are transferred initially, and there will be no restrictions on the
products and services available while Certificates and IRAs are
still with Southeast Financial.

The terms and conditions applicable to existing Southeast
Financial IRAs and Certificate Accounts will remain the same. In
addition to receiving quarterly statements, members will receive
a notice approximately 15 days prior to the maturity date. Upon
maturity, IRAs and Certificate balances will be transferred into
your Primary Share account at Superior Credit Union.
• Superior offers a variety of certificates and terms. Please contact
Member Services at 1-877-717-2271 or visit www.SuperiorCU.
com to determine the rate and term that is right for you.
OFFICE LOCATIONS AND HOURS
• Beginning January 1, 2016, you will be able use any of Superior
Credit Union’s 12 convenient offices in Lima, Delphos, Fostoria,
Kenton, Ottawa, St. Marys, Tiffin, and Wapakoneta. A complete
listing of branch locations can be found on the back cover of this
pamphlet or online at www.SuperiorCU.com.

Offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30am until
5:00pm and on Saturday from 9:00am until 12 noon.
SHARE INSURANCE
• All Superior Credit Union shares are insured through the National
Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). The NCUSIF was
created by Congress in 1970 to insure member’s deposits in
federally insured credit unions. In 2010, the NCUA’s standard
share insurance amount was permanently increased to $250,000.
Administered by the National Credit Union Administration,
the NCUSIF is backed by the full faith and credit of the
U.S. Government.
OVERDRAFT PROTECTION &
COURTESY PAY
• Superior offers Automatic Overdraft Protection from your primary
share account. Members also have access to Courtesy Pay which
pays an overdraft in the event you do not have sufficient funds
in your account. Courtesy Pay allows you to overdraft your
checking account to a limit of $600.00. While there is a $20.00
fee for each Courtesy Pay, it my save you the inconvenience and
merchant costs associated with having a check returned.
• Please contact a Financial Services Representative to learn more
about Courtesy Pay.
HOME BANKING
• Online Banking and BillPay are available to all members free of
charge. It is referred to as CONNECT 24 Online Banking.
• The days of December 31st and January 1st could result in some
time in which you will be unable to access your account via
online banking. We ask that you please bear with us as we
work diligently to convert member database systems as quickly
and seamlessly as possible. It is recommended that members
download their most recent online banking statement prior to
Dec. 1st for their records.
• If you do not currently use online banking, sign up is easy. You can
sign up at SuperiorCU.com to have 24/7 access to your account
history, balance your checkbook, view copies of cleared checks,
make loan and mortgage payments, and much more from
anywhere with Internet access. If you have any questions please
visit one of our offices for help setting up and demonstrating the
service for you.
ONLINE BANKING FIRST-TIME
USER ENROLLMENT
LOAN PAYMENTS
1. Go online to SuperiorCU.com.
• Any outstanding loans will continue with your current rate, term,
and monthly payment.
2. In the Online Banking Account Login fields enter your information
as follows:
• To find out more information on any of your borrowing needs,
please call Member Services at 1-877-717-2271. Payments can be
made at any Superior office location or by mailing to:

3. New Online Banking User
Click the Enroll link and follow the instructions.
4. Create a new User Name and Password.
5. Enter your telephone number(s) and email address in order
to receive a one-time use secure verification code by text
message, voice call, or email. Cell phones work best, but land
lines are acceptable. Listing both a phone number and an email
address gives you more verification options and may be helpful
in the future in the event you get a new phone, phone number,
or computer.

6. Follow the prompts and enter the one-time use secure
verification code you receive by phone or email.
7. Decide whether or not you want to continue to use the added
security of the one-time use secure verification code (see box
below for more information). You will then be taken to your new
Online Banking home page!
DO I WANT TO CONTINUE USING THE
ADDED SECURITY FEATURE?
If you are using a computer that you trust (protected from viruses
and malware, and not a public or shared computer), you may opt
to stop using the enhanced security protocol after the initial setup
or at any time after that. However, many users will opt to continue
using this enhanced security feature to further protect their online
account information. In this case, every time you logon to Online
Banking you will use this quick one-time use secure verification
code process.
Additionally, any time you log in from an unenrolled computer or
device, you will be asked to verify your identity using this one-time
use verification code method.
AUDIO RESPONSE
• Superior Credit Union has a free audio response system called
Superior Line. Superior Line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
to make balance inquiries, transfers, history inquiries, checking &
loan information, and additional options.
• The phone number for Superior Line is 419-228-5463 or toll free
1-888-550-6717. To set up your Superior Line access, simply call
one of the numbers listed and go through the “First Time Caller
Setup”. If you have any questions, please visit one of our offices
for help setting up and demonstrating the service for you.
FIRST-TIME CALLER SETUP
Press 1 to access your account or perform transactions. When
prompted, please enter your member number followed by the
(#) sign. Caller will then be asked to enter the last four digits
of the primary account holder’s Social Security Number to
verify their identity. Next, you will be asked to enter a four-digit
personal identifi cation number (PIN). Last, caller will be asked to
enter a different, secondary four-digit personal identifi cation
number (PIN).

Members with Payroll Deductions and/or Direct Deposit will
continue to have your money deposited into your accounts.
• These members will not need to change anything or sign any
documents; the account numbers will be automatically changed
for you.
If you wish to set up a new Direct Deposit, Superior’s routing
number is: 241279616.
DISCLOSURE INFORMATION
• A fee and disclosure form was mailed to you on Dec. 1st. If you
need a new disclosure, please contact one of our offices or visit
our website at www.SuperiorCU.com.
