1. Biography
The times they are a-changin'. It would seem that more and more we
think back to the old days of the original Nile Crocodile and all the great
Rock bands that used to play there. Now we look around and our old
stomping grounds are gone and most of the bands that used to play with
us have also moved on. Our line-up features founding members of old
Nile regulars like Orange, Rhutz and D-Day 4-Ever but recently we have
also managed to incorporate the best of the new generation into the fold
with a member of If 6 was 9 joining us. Yes, the times are changing, the
venues are changing, we are changing... we are now members of THE
DYING BREED.
THE DYING BREED is all about in your face, no apologies, party till ya
drop, Fuel Injected Rock 'n Roll. We are not the band wearing the makeup, we are not the band with the choreographed dance moves and backup dancers and we are not the next pre-packaged radio, pop sensation.
We have no gimmicks. Our music is straight-up, dirty and written for our
fans to get their freak on. We are a Rock band.
THE DYING BREED's music is a mix between Hard and Beat Rock with
powerful vocals, killer guitar riffs, fat bass lines and driving drums.
To complement the audio assault, THE DYING BREED puts on an
energetic live show that will get you running on all six cylinders!
2. Music and Video
THE DYING BREED is currently adding the final touches to our debut EP
entitled “Rev It Up!” which will be available mid 2013.
The EP will include six original tracks by THE DYING BREED as well as a
music video for the first single “Black Snake Pretend”.

Black Snake Pretend has been getting regular radio play on Barney
Simon’s show on Tuks FM, Kovsies FM, Zone Radio and Mix FM. Once the
EP is done then we will submit the rest of the songs for radio play.
