GTHM Regular Scheduled Activities
What Jesus Means to Me...
While at God's Treasure House I've learned to build bridges instead of walls. For
many years I erected only walls in my life, but now where there were walls there are
bridges instead. Thanks be to God, the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy
Spirit.

Since I have come to God's Treasure House the Lord has taught me how to trust God.
I've opened up and now I have a true relationship with Jesus Christ. I never thought
that I would be this happy. I am finally free to live a life pleasing to Him. I have my
children back in my life and I'm so grateful to the Lord. Praise the Lord!

Street Witnessing with Household of Faith Church
My Dad Steve (he is a board member at God's Treasure House) adopted me out of a whole litter of dogs,
he said I stole his heart especially because I had a purple collar (that is one of the colors of God's Treasure
House, it means royalty). He brought me first to meet my new Mom and the girls. It was New Year's Eve.
(A dawn of a new beginning, Mom said.) This was going to be my second
home when Dad was working out of town so I had to get used to the
girls. They sure spoil me, take me out for walks, sneak me treats. I
participate in morning and evening devotions and I love just sitting under
the table while the girls are in class. I keep my Mom's feet warm
underneath her desk and I love when Christi takes me to Pampered
Pets for a bath and blueberry facials. That is where she works. I am
so proud of her working with animals. I did a naughty thing one day
though I tore open a sofa pillow and took all the stuffing out. Boy, did I
get it from Mom with the fly swatter. I sure learned to be obedient. I
hate fly swatters. I just love God's Treasure House. I love my Dad
too! He is special. I am the most happiest dog in the whole world
because I have a family that loves me!

God's Treasure House Guest Speaker this evening is:
Rev. Nettie Smith
Protestant Chaplain State Correctional Institution for Women;
Cambridge Springs, PA
Rev. Nettie V. Smith is the protestant Chaplain at the State Correctional
Institution at Cambridge Springs. She is also the Senior Co-Pastor of Rock
of Ages Compassion Ministry in Erie, Pennsylvania with her sister, Rev. Sandra
Smith. Their ministry includes "The Ladies Apostolic Round Table", a TV
program which airs on the local cable access channel, as well as "Hidden
Jewels Prison Ministry" providing support at the Erie County Department of
Corrections weekly, with worship services to both men
and women populations.
She is the past Executive Director of Community
House for Women in Erie, an in-patient non-hospital
residential treatment facility for pregnant addicted
women, with funding provided through the State Office
of Drug and Alcohol programs.
She is the past Executive Director of the Partnership
for a Healthy Community, The State Health
Improvement Plan Partner with the PA. Department
of Health, working to reduce health care disparities,
and increase access to care for those underserved. She is also the past
manager of the Area Agency on Aging for the Greater Erie Community Action
Committee in Erie, one of 52 entities in Pennsylvania providing services to the
elderly through designation from the PA Department of Aging.
She is the current board member for the City of Erie Water Authority, appointed
through Erie City Council, a position she has held for 5 years. She 1s also a
board member of the Erie County Department of Health, approved through
the Erie County Council.
While operating in these various secular capacities Rev. Smith continued her
labor in the ministry, being called on May 9, 1992, licensed to preach March
17, 1996; ordination received on March 18, 2000, and continues to preach the
Gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Praise to my Savior:
I give all praise, honor, glory, and thanksgiving to my Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ for all the help I was given from February to March by
God's Treasure House.
In February while I was sick with the flu there was a storm and I had
lost my electricity. I called my wonderful friend Gina and told her
what had happened. Gina came to my home with Steve, another
dear friend, to take me to God's Treasure House. Steve carried me
out of my house through all the snow to the car and when we arrived
at God's Treasure House Steve carried me in the house.
Shortly after I fell and damaged my back that caused severe pain.
I was not able to sit, stand, or walk for very long. I spent most of
my time in bed. Gina also slept in the room with me because she
didn't want me to be alone in case I would fall again. I received so
much TLC from all of them. While there the Lord allowed two other
angels, residents of God's Treasure House, Sue & Donna who
looked in on me often and even spoon-fed me on several occasions.
They always asked if I was alright and what could they do for me.
They were so concerned, loving, and caring. May the Lord continue
to bless them for their hearts are so pure, honest, and good. Thank
you again ladies! Again the Lord was faithful to me and carried me
through.
All this pain and God gave me peace.
Praise to my wonderful Savior.

Rev. Nettie Smith
Protestant Chaplain State Correctional Institution for Women;
Cambridge Springs, PA
Rev. Nettie V. Smith is the protestant Chaplain at the State Correctional
Institution at Cambridge Springs. She is also the Senior Co-Pastor of Rock
of Ages Compassion Ministry in Erie, Pennsylvania with her sister, Rev. Sandra
Smith. Their ministry includes "The Ladies Apostolic Round Table", a TV
program which airs on the local cable access channel, as well as "Hidden
Jewels Prison Ministry" providing support at the Erie County Department of
Corrections weekly, with worship services to both men
and women populations.
She is the past Executive Director of Community
House for Women in Erie, an in-patient non-hospital
residential treatment facility for pregnant addicted
women, with funding provided through the State Office
of Drug and Alcohol programs.
She is the past Executive Director of the Partnership
for a Healthy Community, The State Health
Improvement Plan Partner with the PA. Department
of Health, working to reduce health care disparities,
and increase access to care for those underserved. She is also the past
manager of the Area Agency on Aging for the Greater Erie Community Action
Committee in Erie, one of 52 entities in Pennsylvania providing services to the
elderly through designation from the PA Department of Aging.
She is the current board member for the City of Erie Water Authority, appointed
through Erie City Council, a position she has held for 5 years. She 1s also a
board member of the Erie County Department of Health, approved through
the Erie County Council.
While operating in these various secular capacities Rev. Smith continued her
labor in the ministry, being called on May 9, 1992, licensed to preach March
17, 1996; ordination received on March 18, 2000, and continues to preach the
Gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Praise to my Savior:
I give all praise, honor, glory, and thanksgiving to my Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ for all the help I was given from February to March by
God's Treasure House.
In February while I was sick with the flu there was a storm and I had
lost my electricity. I called my wonderful friend Gina and told her
what had happened. Gina came to my home with Steve, another
dear friend, to take me to God's Treasure House. Steve carried me
out of my house through all the snow to the car and when we arrived
at God's Treasure House Steve carried me in the house.
Shortly after I fell and damaged my back that caused severe pain.
I was not able to sit, stand, or walk for very long. I spent most of
my time in bed. Gina also slept in the room with me because she
didn't want me to be alone in case I would fall again. I received so
much TLC from all of them. While there the Lord allowed two other
angels, residents of God's Treasure House, Sue & Donna who
looked in on me often and even spoon-fed me on several occasions.
They always asked if I was alright and what could they do for me.
They were so concerned, loving, and caring. May the Lord continue
to bless them for their hearts are so pure, honest, and good. Thank
you again ladies! Again the Lord was faithful to me and carried me
through.
All this pain and God gave me peace.
Praise to my wonderful Savior.
