Der Werkzeug- und Formenbau bietet neue und erweiterte Lösungen, um komplexe
Geometrien in Kunststoff, Metall oder Glas zu realisieren. Formentechnische Gestaltung, Oberflächenstrukturen oder kinematische und thermische Auslegungen – hier
spiegelt sich das Kompetenzfeld vom Design über das Prototyping bis zur Serienfertigung.
Innovative Moulding-Technologien in der Produktion schaffen Wettbewerbsvorteile.
Die Moulding Area bietet einen intensiven Überblick über den gesamten Bereich des Werkzeug- und Formenbaus mit der unmittelbaren Anbindung an die Metallbearbeitungstechnologien der METAV. In der Moulding Area werden Werkzeuge und Formen für die unterschiedlichen
Produktionsverfahren (Umformen, Urformen) sowie Konzepte für den Vorrichtungs- und Lehrenbau präsentiert. Lösungen für Konstruktionen, Berechnungen und Simulationen werden von den
Ausstellern der C-Technologien vorgestellt.
