Warlord Saddlebag Tray Bracket Installation Instructions Tools needed a. #15 Torx head driver Installation Instructions 1. Remove the front Dzus connector that holds the saddlebag to the motorcycle. (Figure – 1) 2. Discard the washer and replace with the 2” bracket (Figure – 2) *For 1993 – 2002 saddlebags see Note 1 3. Reinstall the Dzus connector (Figure – 3) 4. Remove the Rear Dzus connector that holds the saddlebag to the motorcycle. 5. Discard the washer and replace with the 1 ½” bracket. *For 1993 – 2002 saddlebags see Note 1 6. Reinstall the Dzus connector 7. Remove one of the two #15 Torx head screws that attaches the cloth lid retainer to the saddlebag 8. Insert one of the 2 ¼” brackets between the cloth retainer and the saddlebag *For 1993 – 2002 saddlebags see Note 2 9. Insert the #15 Torx head screw that was removed in step 8 through the cloth retainer and the hole in the 2 ¼” bracket and tighten (Figure – 4) 10. Remove the other #15 Torx head screws that attaches the cloth lid retainer to the saddlebag 11. Insert the other 2 ¼” bracket between the cloth retainer and the saddlebag *For 1993 – 2002 saddlebags see Note 2 12. Insert the #15 Torx head screw that was removed in step 8 through the cloth retainer and the hole in the 2 ¼” bracket and tighten Note 1: For 1993-­‐2002 HD fiberglass saddlebags without a saddlebag liner installed Remove the washer place the bracket on the Dzus connector reinstall the washer on the Dzus connector Note 2: For 1993-­‐2002 HD fiberglass saddlebags without a saddlebag liner installed place the screw through the hole on the bracket and reinstall the screw (the bracket does not go between the lid retainer and the saddlebag) Figure – 1 Figure – 3 Figure -­‐ 2 Figure -­‐ 4 Tray Installation To insert the Warlord Saddlebag Tray, start by tipping the back of the tray down slightly and seating it first in the saddlebag as shown in figure 1. Figure – 1 Then, Lower the front of the tray into the saddlebag, as shown in figure 2.
